Based on greediness. No one NEEDS to make up to 300K a year. No one!

    From 2105

As he took me through an interactive map on his computer screen, Oakland physician Nate Gross showed me what a neurosurgeon in my area might expect to make. Scrolling his cursor over the D.C. suburb of Montgomery County, Maryland, a number appeared: $580,000. I knew that, vaguely, but I did gasp.

"But if you move down to South Carolina," Gross continued, scrolling south, "here, you're looking at $645,000."
Now add in prescription drug prices here compared to other countries...... (I screen shot this to keep the columns straight)

You can buy the $5 generic.

Dr's that have to make $350K because they can't live on $200K a year.
This is why you have quality doctors in the US.

Places where the government pays health insurance has a realllyyyyy hard time finding doctors.

    Thus the long wait times.

Insurance Companies are the ones that raise the rates every year.
This isn't greed, it's rising cost of doing business.

Obama removed pre-existing conditions from excludable provisions.

So now, health insurance companies have to pay for all of the pre-existing conditions they never did before.

That increased their cost A TON.

So they have to increase their prices.

    And American's are getting sicker.

Diabetes and heart disease are through the roof.

UnitedHealth - the largest health insurance company in the world - reported an 81% medical cost ratio in 2018.

    Know what that means?

That means for ALL the money they brought in from premiums (both from employers and employees), they paid out 81% of that toward healthcare costs.

So they now have 19% left to pay:

    1) Employees
    2) Benefits
    3) Office Space
    4) Materials
    5) Profit

Let's make an anology using someone who sells apples.

John sells Apples for $1 each.

Each apple costs John 81 cents to purchase.

This means, that for every apple he sells, he "profits" 19 cents.

But out of that 19 cents, he has to pay his employee that sells the apples, the gas to go and pick up the apples, the equipment needed to harvest the apples, etc.

All of a sudden, 19 cents doesn't seem like much.

But most people think that insurance companies make like 50%. They don't. Most make between 15% to 18% and from that, they have to pay everyone and profit.

If you want to talk greed, let's talk big pharma.

    THAT is who is greedy.
My name is Ryan, and I am an anonymous Patriots fan. I was owned in a football bet by a resident of a country whose favorite sport is soccer. Here are some nuggets of my football knowledge:• We should have paid more than the Jets for pick #3 in the 2018 draft, since there will be no chance that we can draft Josh Rosen now.• The sky is falling - we lost Mike Gillislee.• Scott Chandler is going to blow up playing with Gronk.• Chris Hogan is going to blow up playing with Brady.• Tyrod Taylor will set the league on fire.

What's funny, is that I think this stuff really interests you (or did). How long have you been searching for the rabbit hole? You didn't think it would be this easy did you? Frustrating isn't it?

    Did I win a cookie?
No. No cookie for you. Unless you’re saying Jeff Zucker can be put on my list OTPWOM (of the people who own me) next up.......Steve Mnuchin
