    The Sabres had 6 players with over 14 goals last year. His 17 with the Rangers would have made him the 4th highest scorer on the Sabres

    Still not a fan of this signing merely because he spurned Buffalo. He is not a top 6 winger. He's a 3rd line winger. His ONLY advantage, IMO, is that most of his scoring comes on 5-on-5 situations which the Sabres were bad at last year.

    If he can bump scoring on the bottom 2 lines and in 5-on-5 then I'll take it. I expect they'll try to pair him with Eichel and see what happens, but ultimately I expect him to be a 3rd line player.
