BREAKING: Bills release RB Keith Ford

I think they may have done it to balance out my posts that included references to the wise Henry Ford.

I just feel bad for RB's getting released, who were forced to run behind that awful offensive line.

I liked Ford. Hopefully he can find an opportunity with another team.

He showed some nice quickness when he got to play. Run him 15-20 times a game with a better OL and he could be 100 yd man. I don't we'll get much out of Gore either.

I understand that, but Gore is 36 years old what is he going to give the Bill's that Ford or Ivory couldn't?

I think they wisely see that Ford will have as much of a long term impact on the team as Gore. In a 1 year situation Gore’s experience is valuable, he has much to teach the young guys, and doesn’t require much coaching to come in and take over as RB1 in a pinch.

In terms of stashed “prospect” RBs that could have future impacts, Singletary and Yeldon should be higher on that list
