BREAKING(for my Canadian brothers): Trailer Park Boys finally is back! (and some other Axl duets)

Supposedly on Netf**x, I havent gotten to obtain it yet before breaking this.. I'm not going to give any spoilers for those in Canada(or those in the States who have good taste)...but some may be quite disappointed due to what I kind of predicted from how the last episode ended.

While I'm here, I will leave you with a music video from the show, Bubbles and the Shitrockers, Who's Got Your Belly. Even a number of ignorant Americans will recognize the Canadians making cameos in the video(other than maybe SB). Good stuff.

Another time, Bubbles also appeared on stage with....believe it or not...Guns N Roses in Phoenix. It was epic, regardless of the crowd's understandable ignorance. For the folks who knew the guy, it was similar to if Daryl had seen Kylo Ren on stage with one if his top favorite musical artists unexpectedly. (For those who care, there IS a video of it online....Axl does his circular move around Bubbles, if I recall correctly). He sang LIQUOR AND WHORES, which is not the only reason I used Daryl for an analogy, lol.....fun song!
(EDIT: Season obtained. Will soon see if Meat's pulling of a Sean is enough to keep me down!)

bleep off Meathead! But yeah, the Netflix versions(season 8 and on) were considered by many to not be the same quality as the Mike Clattenburg(cough cough) stuff(similar to how after Mike Judge sold Beavis and Butthead to MTV). (Although Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles bought the rights in this case....amd eventually made the deal with Netf**x, so good for them....but then they did "TPB: out of the park....USA, and Europe versions...where they went around doing various challenges in real life, given to them by Swearnet...so if you really want to talk jumping the shark, that was it...and either on that or the podcasts for awhile, they werent allowd to use the character names and Mike Smith even said he wasnt allowed to do the Bubbles' voice, lol).

**** though, if you read about the show's history or watch a docuimentary....it's extremely unlikely how it came to be such a mega hit in Canada, let alone later in the US and worldwide following the Netflix addition. I'd like to think a lot of Buffalo residents could relate to the show....which has live performances selling out various US venues the last few years.

Speaking of Liquor and Whores, here is the Ottawa version.....it's funny in the Phoenix version, I think I recall a comment on the Phoenix version saying the confused people probably just thought Bubbles was simply a mentally challenged friend of Axl's, lol. The Phoenix video quality was better, but(despite that being the first city I saw GNR in), the lame crowd didnt do an excellent song justice. (Pre-emptive warning...this is from the Buckethead years, post and pre Slash.....either way, Axl shows he knows good TV! Not sure how he found TPB!)

Meat, per the song's reference, have you ever been drinking at the Legion? I think it's something every drinker might enjoy at least once before they pass from this phase of existence. The Legion!!!!

No disrespect to Bubbles, but this is likely my fav Axl Rose duet....anyone who has spent time in LA....even if just buying liquor at the 99 cent only store on Wilshire and Fairfax(I once got a 6 pack of hard cola there for...99 cents! Do the math, epic), can likely appreciate these 2 LA guys(i know Axl moved from IN) rocking out about the city on an existential level.

It's been ages since MTV got anything right, but this was back when it happened on occasion.

RIP Tom....and kudos on you for taking Jesse Owens' logic and sharing the spotlight with the man of the hour. Finding out I was BANNED from Canada, actually got me a chance to see Tom Petty at the Gorge in George(, WA...I love both of those names) the next day that I wouldnt have otherwise. When one door closes, others often open.

One final Axl duet I love and can relate with before I let it get back to TPB......

Surprisingly, considering Axl's controversial lyrics mentioning homosexuals(as well as certain type of black folk, and police) in "One In A Million", here he makes a stunning appearance toward the end of Bohemian Rhapsody with Elton John in tribute to Freddie.

I hope to go to Wembley one day myself if I am not banned, to see Pink Floyd's final performance(which Nick Mason said he was open to doing as a "one off", but not a whole tour....which he is currently doing on his own this year!, Pre-Dark Side stuff! Watch the guy at Live At Pompei...he was an absolute BEAST....and the most humorous part was the Visine dropper after someone asked him a question about drugs, lol). **D-25 FTW. Gilmour actually appeared at a Water's The Wall show, per agreement if Water's did a pro-PALESTINE charity show with David(these guys have their hearts in the right places!!)...so it appears they're on kind enough terms where it is possible if there is a big enough reason, and Mason was the one guy whom I thought might be too old, being drumming requires more, but I may see him shortly.

Anyhow...Wembley....72,000 seats, sold out, would be amazing for Icke or Floyd. Here's Axl appearing toward the end for another great duet, showing he does care about switch hitters despite the lyrics of one song that got people worked up.

PREVIEW: After I watched the movie version of Bohemian Rhapsody(which Rami Malek, known for Mr Robot, won the Oscar for), I almost posted my review and a documentary about "HIV" and what AIDS really is in various places of the world...including Nobel Laureates on all sides of the discussion, which is likely to shake the beliefs of many folks on Big Medical(tm), if they pay even a modicum of attention.

Even the civilized Brits went relatively apeshit when Axl ran out for the ending...I can imagine the frenzy if this this had been in the US or South America at the time, lol. I'm serious about the review and documentary(award winning at numerous film festivals), but sometimes folks just need some feel-good entertainment. I dont think even the Super Bowl will ever see acts like this again, and we will be stuck with Britney Spears or Rhianna(now that she can unboycott, do to Kaep's settlement, lol).

Meat, I believe this was in a season you still liked? And I'm guessing it wouldnt be a hard job to make you picture me being Mr Lahey in this scene?

Meat, I am the liquor! (mind you, these are just the #4, and #5 actors in the series....but still a blast to watch on their own)

Meat, I agree with you on most of that. I think fans may have gotten a bit spoiled, as it clearly was quite different than most of the garbage that was/is on TV....in the sense that even Michael Jordan had a wind down at some point.

These fellas sell out live shows in the States, even had a Christmas tour not that long ago....

Anyhow Meat, was this one in your approved seasons? :) (it's how I picture Bubbles[probably the most moral guy on the show?!?] responding to some of the mainstream Bible pimps like [bleep] and [bleep] on here, lol)

Don't get too excited, the new TPB is just an animated series. I don't care for it myself.
