    Looking to the 2020 Offseason

$86,752,502 is the current amount of cap space the Bills will have in 2020. This does NOT take into account the cap going up (which is inevitable) and any rollover cap space we may have from 2019.

This means the Bills will likely have close to $100MM in cap space next offseason.

For all of you looking for a "splash" signing, my guess is next year that will be on the agenda more so than it was this year.

They filled glaring holes with solid players this year, and next year they can put the finishing touches on the roster with some high priced studs. Those are the guys who can put the team over the top. Its not wise to splurge on such players in a year like this year when there are so many holes. Plug those holes early with some reliable role players, and then go for the gold.

This is how a rebuild is done folks. Doug Whaley knows nothing about this.

A great salary cap situations allows for Beane to make trades and take on players with big contracts or sign an elite player if there are released due to salary cap reasons.

Smart salary cap management also allows for future flexibility to extend current young players that are being developed like Tre'Davious White, Matt Milano , Dion Dawkins, Zay Jones, Tremaine Edmunds , Josh Allen.

That is a lot of money and im sure they will be looking to bring in some guys.

They be smart to Resign Poyer who would have one year left on his deal next Spring as well and not sure if they be able to yet but might be good to pay Tre White Early.

Yeah some guys are going to get paid, specifically Milano and Tre.

Hyde and Poyer could be due good faith extensions as well. They're super solid as a duo and should be Bills for another 4-5 years.

No need to sink money into another volatile running back.

Agreed. Milano isn't gonna get megabucks, Tre likely will.

Hyde/Poyer could be pricey due to the inflated safety market, but that still leaves a TON of room to go after some big fish next year.

To name a few "Big Fish":

    WR

    Michael Thomas
    Tyler Boyd
    Sterling Shepard
    Will Fuller
    Amari Cooper

    DL

    Demarcus Lawrence
    Frank Clark
    Robert Quinn
    Dante Fowler
    Joey Bosa
    Leonard Williams
    Deforest Buckner

    LB

    Von Miller
    Clowney
    Bobby Wagner

Can't see Michael Thomas or Cooper hitting FA

I think it'll be very interesting to see Demarcus Lawrence this year. After seeing how Trey Flowers/Dee Ford got paid, Lawrence has had back to back good years and might consider at only 26 sitting out a year, protecting his body and making his money next year. Cowboys don't seem to be able to sign him to the deal he expects and probably has earned.

I would get an edge rusher to pair with Jerry Hughes, I'm assuming they will re up Jerry Hughes.

Getting a young edge rusher in the draft would also be a good idea as I don't see Shaq Lawson coming back.

Most of these guys wont hit the market..

But being in position to strike for them would be nice.
