    RB Duke Johnson anyone?

#Browns placed RB Duke Johnson on the trade block and are shopping him, per @MaryKayCabot

I know he isn't a member of AARP yet, so he might not fit our typical profile.

Seriously, he is a very good pass catching RB. And, because he has a big contract to absorb, the Browns might let he go cheap. Would you give up one of our 5th rounders? Swap picks with them?

I know, I know we have Shady McCoy and Frank Gore so why look at another back.

I just don't think he's worth his contract, but I understand if a team values the certainty of trading for him versus trying to find a good pass-catching back in the draft.

He'd be a nice 3rd down receiving option. But my guess is they are only adding RBs through the draft. We have alot of money tied to the position right now as it is.

A shift, cut back RB will be added through the draft. It doesn't make sense to drop big money on a RB.

I would rather sign a DE like Ziggy Ansah or trade for Gerald McCoy.

I think McCoy is a good pass catcher.

I would absolutely trade for him. He's a very good and very underutilized player. Can really catch. I'd grab him now, cut Ivory, and then next year if/when McCoy is out of gas and Gore is gone, you can draft a guy to pair with Johnson.

He's a good player and worth a pick IMO.

Doubt it's happening. Bills are, if anything, going to add a day 3 RB

I would definitely bring Johnson into the fold, but is there any interest from the Bills? I don't know why they weren't looking at him before signing Gore.

I think you can get this guy for a day 3 pick. And he's proven he can play in the league. I'd do it. He could be James White in the right offense and catch 5 or 7 passes a game.

People think McCoy is a good pass catcher and yet I don't ever really see him make big plays in the passing game.
