put okposo on waivers and move on

the guy just hasnt been the same since his first concussion and hospital stay

plays tentative and avoids contact. thats like the opposite of his old game

hes not a finesse guy. and he gets a concussion from getting punched once

thank you for your svc, good luck in your blah blah blah. goodbye

I’d start with IR as done as it opens up salary room. I think waivers and nobody picking him up doesn’t give cap relief.

I hear he is a great guy....but...can't keep up, can't skate well, can't carry puck, loses puck very easily...needs to go away

he was one of the best players on the team before he got hurt and had that bad reaction to the medicine

and i was reading yesterday that they dont really even have the option to cut him bc hes under contract for two more years and it would mean an immediate cap hit if they did that would cripple their ability to add talent to replace him

what a horrible, horrible piece of bad luck for the sabres. aaaaaagain

Kinda reminds me of Tim Connolly after his concussion, never was the same.

Hi there! To be honest with you, it was truly hard to understand what exactly you were trying to say. Would you be so kind as to clarify this issue for me?

Watching the playoffs this year, the premium on speed and tenacity puts a player like Okposo in an odd place. He just doesn't seem to have the ability to bring it shift after shift.

I agree with Meathead and Charbs that he hasn't been the same since his medical condition. The Tim Connolly reference is dead on. TC was never the same. He didn't process the game the same after his injury as before. He still had his skill set, but didn't have the vision and couldn't seem to anticipate the flow of the game at the pace he used to process that information.

My guess is that we're going to have Okposo on the roster next year due to his salary, same with Sobotka. Unfortunately this will probably mean that Pominville is on the outside looking in even though he'd be a much better asset to this team as a versatile veteran.
