Sounds like another player whose last name starts with an “M”.

He had like 20 catches in college lmao.
You don't want to draft players that maxed out their production in college. You want to draft players that can improve and develop with NFL coaching.

DK Metcalf is going to be a monster in the NFL.
    L*t is a losser

A Bills fan could have gone into a coma in 2000, just woke up, and be shocked that he had not missed a thing!!! HAHAHAHA

I nominate this post of the month, maybe more. Seriously, seriously it encapsulates everything of importance in one sentence. An indie film maker could possibly do well with that concept. -StraightJ 10/7/12

How many catches a WR prospect had in college can matter. It is not the end all, but it is a factor.

D.K. Metcalf caught only 67 passes in three seasons at Ole Miss. If you are considering drafting a WR in the 1st round, you would prefer better production.

But maybe his QB stunk, or there were other really good WRs on his team and they pulled targets away. Obviously missed time because of injury has an impact.

Weight all the pieces. Did he have a lot of drops? What was his targets to catches ratio?

FYI Him being rocked up in a photo, or at the combine, shouldn't sway your opinion of what you see on film. In fact what % of WRs are better receivers because they are jacked?

Exactly. Muscles like that don't mean much at the WR position. The ability to run routes, get open, and catch the ball are what matter. Granted, looking like that won't hurt the kid but it matters very little when it comes to doing his job. I don't picture body builders as being exceptionally great movers.

    David Boston ??

That dude got so big he actually went bad. Not saying this is the same but at one point it becomes too much. He could lose some flexibility and just be too stiff. DK seems close to being there.

David Boston was on Steroids and cared more about his Bulging Biceps than he did about catching passes.
