    Enjoyable Hockey again.

Finally, exciting hockey in Buffalo again. It's been so long since I've enjoyed watching the Sabres play. Let's hope they keep this up for another 70+ games and we'll finally see some playoff hockey!

Montreal came in here is one of the hottest teams in hockey and buffalo made them look silly. I want to see a lot of that

They are beating teams they should beat and losing to better teams, once they figure out how to improve on the second point, it will get real.

Tonight was a great example. Down 4-2, they come back to tie it and take it to OT.

Too bad on the OT loss but last year they lose this game 6-3

They still came away with a point, too

And last night put up 6 to grab 2pts in a see saw battle that would have been a drubbing last season.

they are in that 'learning to win' process. they finally have the horses to score and taking the pressure off eichel seems to have allowed him to become more of a playmaker that sets others up. and without having to be thinking about scoring all the time, hes become a more effective backchecker, preventing more goals against. and they seem to have two legitimate starting caliber goalies, which is a luxury in the nhl but linus is so young that theyve got some time to ride that advantage without being forced to make a move

its still way early in the season, but it looks like a real team now. they need to start turning three point games into two point games with them getting the two points

I agree, had last years team had given up a shortie to go down 5-4 after having 4 1 goal leads, it would have folded and lost 7-4 and mustered 3 shots in the 3rd. This team is figuring it out. Even Mittelstadt is starting to look like he is getting it together. I still think best we can hope for is a .500 point percentage team but I would not be surprised to see this team surpass expectations.
