All I read on this site prior to the draft was, how the Bills need to do whatever it takes to move up and get one of the top 4 QB's, Bust potential be Damned. I said more than once, if they gave up too much to get the QB and he failed it would set the team back 5 years, I was told repeatedly that it wouldn't hurt us that bad and we needed to take that chance. Here we are, Beane got his guy and he didn't overpay at all and he managed to come out of it with a beast of a Linebacker. He rid himself of over paid players, injury problems, attitude problems. The whiny negative nancy's on this site just want to bitch about everything. I think the team is headed in the right direction and Beane and McDermott might actually know what their doing.
    They do.

He did all this and got rid of Marcel too!

Even with Donahoe, i got the sense that this franchise has just done what seemed right in the moment with no regard whatsoever for any kind of long-term strategy.

Ok so Donahoe drafted McGahee (who clearly was not going to play until the following season). That's was the epitome and extent of this franchise's vision as far as i can tell since the glory days..
How did you post a picture?

Well said. Marcel was a total head case. He was good when he wanted to be. He was paid well and his heart wasn't into being the best he could be. Maybe the trade will light a fire under his ass, but he wasn't worth the contract here in Buffalo. Just get players who want to win and give it there all. That plan got us to the playoffs.

It's no secret that Marcell didn't have the work ethic that the Bills FO wanted from it's big name players, to set an example for the young players.
