This article made me feel a little bit better about next year.

I sure hope so because this year's Sabres are a train wreck of major proportions.

I doubt Bill would notice the resemblance

Not sure it really makes me feel better. At this point, the proof will be in the pudding because we've heard this all before.

What made me feel a little better was the Sabres leaving guys in the AHL to develop. It also pointed out a few players that Tim Murray brought in actually have some value and aren't just taking up roster spots.

They are also learning how to win and enjoy winning down in Rochester. Keep them there through the end of the season and let them have success. Don't taint them with a trip up to the big club right now.

There's a ton of talent in the organization. There's also a surplus of prospects. Bailey/Nylander/Fasching/etc...will not all find a slot on the big club so it's time to start moving some assets for greater players.

I'd like to see Ullmark up a few more times but nothing permanent unless they move Lehner or Johnson at the deadline. Not sure who would be dumb enough to take one of them though. Maybe different scenery will do them some good.

Philly might take Lehner. They have injuries at that position.

at this point its better the sabres lose games than win them. current sabres appear to have that covered

what a terrible disappointment this season has been. i hope its just a changing of the guard but its hard to believe in a quick turnaround bc holy cow are they awful

Just please let the young kids have success in Rochester this season. Teach them the culture of winning and keep them away from the big club.

    O'Reilly, Okposo, Eichel, Reinhart
    Risto, Nelson, Guhle

Outside of those 7, trade anyone you want.
