In the end you have Flacco 2.0.

Put a D that can get the stop with 1:20 left in the game and you have a reasonable solution for 2017 while you look for the annointed one in the draft

^ agreed. Keep him around for insurance. But OBD damn well better be bringing in other solutions. If it's TT, Jones and some street FA or 6th round draft pick I'm done.

    Fuck this team

A Bills fan could have gone into a coma in 2000, just woke up, and be shocked that he had not missed a thing!!! HAHAHAHA

I nominate this post of the month, maybe more. Seriously, seriously it encapsulates everything of importance in one sentence. An indie film maker could possibly do well with that concept. -StraightJ 10/7/12

if this defense could even have just slowed down the run a little more this season they would be in the playoffs

im ok with giving rex another season but if he does get fired it will be bc of that glaring weakness

If only we could play the 30th ranked defense every week, we might have a chance with our offense!

    Unfortunately that's not true.

Outside of the Miami games, we have a top 15 rush defense.

    ^^ That's not my opinion, that's statistics.

I truely like Tyrod but he isn't the long term solution to our QB problem and isn't worth the cap hit he is scheduled to make over the next handful of years.

Keeping him under his current deal keeps the Bills from seriously addressing qb and becoming a real contender. Moving on might temporarily set us back but the goal is to win the Super Bowl and the Bills aren't doing it with Tyrod.

it doesnt work that way and you know it

so throw out their two best games and see where they rank, probably top ten

the fish games count just like they all do. this was a bad run defense team. theyve got probably three more wins easy if they really were consistently fifteenth in the league. but they werent

    Of course they all count.

But there is a reason why outliers are removed from data.

Because it doesn't show how good or bad someone or something is.

If a QB throws 25 TD's and 13 INT's through 14 games and then throws 0 TD and 8 INT against the same division team, then that QB will end up with 25 TD and 21 INT.

Does that mean he had a bad season?

    Of course not.

But the outlier 2 games destroy his stats.

Those INT's "count" but his whole season isn't judged on 2 outlier games.
