2.Same Question for Bynum and Cleveland?
    Yes. Yes.

If you're the Lakers, absolutely, because I feel like he'll like it there and re-sign. How the hell can you not? It's ****in Los Angeles with one of the most prestigious teams ever in sports. And isn't he from Cali?

Cleveland, I feel like they have to take a shot here. If all you're losing are a few 1sts, Varejau, and Thompson or whoever the other guy is, I feel like you have to pull the trigger. Kyrie and Bynum would be great to build around if you can get him re-signed, and I feel like their only chance of signing him is trading for him.

    Bulls finally sign Hinrich today

They also signed M.Bellinelli to a 2 year deal. He's a player I actually like and is a lot like Korver. Good shooter, pretty horrible man defender but not as bad as you would think on team defense

They are also close to or have agreed to sign Nazr Mohammed to a one year deal. He's serviceable but nothing to write home about

That signing spells the end for Asik. Which sucks but is what it is

So this is pretty much what the Roster is going to be

    PG-Hinrich, Teague
    SG-Hamilton, Bellinelli
    SF-Deng, Butler
    PF-Boozer, Gibson, Radmanovic, Thomas
    C-Noah, Mohammed

Good not spectacular, still 2 spots left. If everyone stays reasonably healthy we are prob the 7th or 8th seed in the East

Signing Ronnie Brewer is a really nice move for the Knicks. They quietly have a very complete team now.

We got Brewer? Fantastic. He'll be a great addition with J.R. Smith at the 2 until Shumpert gets back. We've quietly put together a very solid bench/second unit.

Bulls sign N.Robinson...Meh move for me

Also means barring injury Teague is going to be doing a lot of sitting. Which was to be expected Thibs doesn't trust rookies and he needs to be developed anyway

Robinson is solid, I like him. He can do alot of things, ok, but nothing great. Good bench/role player.

Will Robinson even play? I give him 10 games before he's in Thib's doghouse. Works the same way with every team that's had him.

He was on the staff when he was in Boston for half a season, so I think he has an idea of what he's in for but I imagine they will butt heads a few times

    Lakers: Howard, Harrington
    Philly:Bynum
    Denver:Iggy
    Orlando:Gasol, Affalo

    are the major parts moving,

Not a good move by the Lakers IMO unless Howard signs an extension and even then I still think they downgrade. Bynum isn't to far from Howard but Gasol is way better than Harrington

    Awesome move for Philly

I like the move for Philly (though I still don't like Bynum and question his future as a centerpiece for a team, but you gotta take that risk if you're Philly IMO). I kinda like it for Denver too.

Hate the move for LA, and hate the move for Orlando.

I gotta imagine Hennigan was looking at this offer and was trying to call the Rockets back to beg them to agree to the offer they had on the table before and the Rockets told him no and Hennigan just sat there like "...****. Let's just end this."

Final thoughts on The Howard deal

1.The Lakers are going to be extremely tough to beat. Howard in the middle of that team basically negates Nash's liability on defense because even if they do get by him they are running into the Wall that is Howard
2.This frees up Gasol big time. On offense he's going to be able to rome around and on defense his length already gave players problems and now he can take even more chances
3.Kobe can fire away even more now that the rebounding with the rebounding
4.Nash will make Howard a better offensive player, and that is going to be tough to deal with
5.Love the deal for Denver, Iggy should fit right in and rise them a spot or two in the playoffs
6.No brainer for Philly as long as he signs an extension
7.I dont get why people think the Nets deal was so much better. Im sorry but B.Lopez on a max deal hurts you more than it helps you and to me thats why they didnt take that deal. Having that deal on your books handicaps you for 4 years. This deal gives you cap space, likely a top 3 pick, some talent, and first rounders. If you cant get a superstar back Id rather have space, chance at the first pick, and other first rounders than above avg players with bloated deals
8.And finally, Take you time coming back D.Rose loll

I don't have a problem with them not taking Brooklyn's offer. I have a problem with them not taking Houston's, which was lightyears better than this deal. The Nets offer was better in my opinion as well because you get Lopez and Hump, who are both solid starters in the NBA and I believe they were offering something crazy like 4 1st round picks or something?

But the Rockets offer was FAR better than what they ended up getting, and those 1st round picks they got are all crap.

Was there ever a confirmed Houston offer?

Because I remember reading from a few NBA writers on Twitter that what Houston offered was not anywhere near what was being reported

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure it was basically confirmed that they were offering 2 of their 3 1st round picks from this past draft (so they could have had Lamb and Terrence Jones for example) along with some other picks or players or something I believe. But seriously, every offer that was reportedly offered to the Magic was better than that garbage.
