Cole Hamels throws at Bryce Harper on purpose? Thats a classless move. Then he brags about it to the media after the game. Y? Because of all the hype he's getting? Through the first 8 games of his career looks like the real deal to me. Batting .308 5 doubles has a good glove in left, great arm and speed. Plus he stole home on Hamels after he pluncked him in the 1st. Guy plays hard. Later in the game he legged out a double on a bloop hit over the shortstops head. Y? because he was running hard right out of the box. When's the last time a major leaguer did that? Most guys dont even run out ground balls anymore. I know 8 games doesn't make a career but he looks great. Plus he's only 19! Hamels should get a suspended a few games for that classless move.

something about hamels always rubbed me the wrong way. i cant put my finger on it, but i was never a fan of his.

as for harper, ive heard he has an ego, but thats to be expected. kids a gifted player, and i have a hunch we are watching a superstar in the making.

I'm extremely surprised to actually see him get suspended for the intentional HBP.

I figured the humility of Harper stealing home and getting plunked himself was governing itself.
