I think they already said he is coming up tomorrow. Since we saw Garcia today we might see Warren start on Friday.

The point is, it doesn't matter, sometimes pitchers take off when coming to the bigs... happens all the time... Garret Richards had a 4.50 ERA with Angels farm team, and came up throwing really well in the bigs... Sometimes, these guys aren't as focused as they would be in the bigs... Give them a shot...I'm so sick of never seeing are so called best prospects EVER...Throw them into the fire like many teams do, especially when the opportunity presents itself...

Betances can't hit the strike zone or miss bats.

He's not suddenly going to figure it out by pitching in a ballpark that has more fans.

Garrett Richards has a 3.02 ERA in 41.2 IP at the MLB level.
He also has a 3.31 ERA in 377.2 IP in MiLB.

If you think he's going to continue with a sub 2 ERA with the Angels this season.. well, I don't know how you could think that.
He'll end up with an ERA north of 4.

HAppens all the time... In 10 starts in the minors Richards gave up 61 hits to Betances 43, gave 27 ER to Betances 33, opponents were hitting .281 against Richards, compared to .247 against Betances... Betances has 13 more BB, and for some reason Richards in th Majors is pitching way better than his MILB number show... I don't make this stuff up man... Bring the kid up

The point is a difference in philosophy, the Angels were eager to see what their top prospect could do, even though his number in 10 starts didn't warrant a call-up, and the Yankees are afraid to do that, so they call up a guy with mediocre stuff, that will never be more that a 5th man in the rotation because he's statically doing better... I hate it...

it also doesn't matter if he keeps it up or not, he's gaining valuable experience in big league games, where our guy is not... Also CC is out 2 starts, I'd be dame happy with 2 starts that Richads had this year wouldn't you? looking at Richards numbers this year would you suspect he'd be 2-0 with a .90 ERA in his 2 starts? NO

Yeah but I meant for 2 starts he was dominate, and that's all we need is 2 starts... Why call up a guy with practically no future in the MLB? Doesn't make sense to me. Our top prospects no matter what they're doing should always get first crack, it's valuable experience...is it not?

Jeter isn't the guy to be worried about I'm more worried about the 2 that steal 50 million from the Yankees and wont combine for 50 hr this season or sniff a .290 BA. God I hate them and wish we can move on from them. Granted Jeter is struggling, but he'll maintain .285-.300 BA

When will ownership and cashman realize it doesn't work in the post season...I mean there turning granderson into a .240 hitter too,because kevin long wants his lefties to swing with an upper cut, wtf don't they realize that a higher BA will lead to more RBI's.

you do realize he was hitting .256 on July 4th last year and got it to .297 right? 41 pts in half a season.

I don't understand your criticism of Jeter, but never of the 2 idiots in the middle of our lineup.. Jeter if anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, theses 2 idiots are here for another 6 or 7 years, and they aren't worth 2/3 of their contracts...

You really have to ask that question? They're are being paid like they are the best players in the game, maybe, just maybe a HINT of them actually being the best players in the game? I mean if you project Chavez's numbers through 550 AB's he's actually better than AROD... Are you really happy with their numbers? Tex numbers are solid, but I hate his BA... The guy was a perennial .285+ hitter what happened, why has he become Rob Deer? before jointing the Yankees he hit .259, .281, .301, .282, .306, .308, (joined the Yankees) .292, .256, .248, and still declining... I'll bet he hits lower than the .248 last year, he's at .247 now.. that's awful

Arod, is a joke, amongst 3rd basemen he is 10th in BA, 13th in RBI's, 6th in HR's, 3rd in strikeouts, 20th in doubles (he has 10 WTF), and he is paid to be the best player in baseball, he isn't close to being the best 3rd basemen in baseball... I can't wait til he is not a Yankess uniform... Chavez has 6 less HR's 2 less doubles, 18 less RBI's in a 180 less AB's... it's a joke

Yankees sitting pretty with baseball's best record at the break. Nice going by the bombers. I am however concerned about our HR dependency. The past 2 post seasons good pitching has eliminated that and in turn us. They need to hit better and not rely on the long ball that much.

But anyway hard to complain about a team with the league's best record. Oh and we just took care of the Sux yet again.

I'm happy with A-Rods and Tex's production.

A-Rod is being paid for the player he WAS not the player he is currently. (Not saying I agree with that.)
He's 37 years old in 2 weeks. Check your expectations, Rocky. He's not going to produce like he did when he was 30.

Check my expectations? WHAT? I'm not asking for him to be the MVP he once was, but at least be considered one of the best 3rd basemen in the league. I mean be at least the best 3rd basemen on your team, and I'm not sure he is. Is that really too much to ask for a 30 mil player? I don't think so. My problem is more with the Yankees FO back then, I mean are they frcking dumb to give an aging player who sucks in the clutch and never got comfortable in NY a 10 year 300 mil... Just plain dumb, then a mega contract to Teixiera, when even i saw his big loopy swing was going to slow down and he would be Giambi 2.0, granted his power numbers are there, but for how long? I'm not sure...

Now with these 2 asinine contracts, we are out of the Hamels and Hamilton sweepstakes...

Again how can you be happy with Arod's production? I mean if you are this debates just need to end, because hitting .270 with 24 HR and 65 RBI's makes me sick from our former MVP 30 million dollar man
