Unlike the other Buffalo sports team that occupies the First Niagara Center, the Buffalo Bandits are on the verge of making a major move that could very well save their season before it’s completely lost.
According to Steve Bermel of IL Indoor, the Bandits are close to acquiring goaltender Anthony Cosmo from the Minnesota Swarm for two first round draft picks.
A three time NLL all-star, Cosmo was drafted by the Swarm in the dispersal draft when the Boston Blazers ceased operations. However, location and contract problems resulted in Cosmo not playing a single minute for Minnesota. He was voted Goaltender of the Year in 2007.
