I remember Jeremy Guthrie as a Buffalo Bisons. He pitched with the Buffalo Bisons in parts of 4 seasons. Going 4-9 in 2003, 1-2 in 2004 in the Buffalo Bisons last Governors' Cup Championship year, 12-10 in 2005 and 9-5 in 2006. Jeremy Guthrie never panned out in the Cleveland Indians organization in my opinion. His best season's were 2005 and 2006 with the Buffalo Bisons.
I never thought of him as anything more then an average pitcher but maybe it was me as a Buffalo Bisons fan because I saw alot of very good Cleveland Indians prospects pass through Buffalo. Today with the New York Mets prospects in Buffalo maybe Jeremy Guthrie would look great today I don't know. But BSF has watch alot of subspects in the New York Mets pitching prospects department pitch in Buffalo the past three seasons. More over hyped New York Mets pitching subspects then prospects if you ask me. But again that is only one Buffalo Bisons fans opinion of when I watched Jeremy Guthrie pitch in Buffalo.
