    2012 USA Basketball

The final 20-person roster was announced a few days ago, so I pose this question: If you were in charge of making the final 12-person roster to bring to London, who would you have on it, and what would your starting lineup be?

    Guards:
    Chauncey Billups
    Kobe Bryant
    Eric Gordon
    Chris Paul
    Derrick Rose
    Dwyane Wade
    Russell Westbrook
    Deron Williams

    Forwards:
    Lamarcus Aldridge
    Carmelo Anthony
    Chris Bosh
    Kevin Durant
    Rudy Gay
    Blake Griffin
    Andre Iguodala
    LeBron James
    Kevin Love
    Lamar Odom

    Centers:
    Tyson Chandler
    Dwight Howard

    Starting 5:
    PG: Chris Paul
    SG: Kobe Bryant
    SF: Kevin Durant
    PF: LeBron James
    C: Dwight Howard
    Bench:
    Derrick Rose
    Deron Williams
    Dwyane Wade
    Rudy Gay
    Carmelo Anthony
    Kevin Love
    Lamarcus Aldridge

I went Aldridge over Bosh just because I think he brings more to the team as a whole. And I don't like leaving Westbrook off the roster either, but I can't justify him over Paul, Rose, Williams, Wade or Kobe.

I also don't like Danny Granger being left off entirely. I would've tried to find room for him somehow....

    I'd go:
    PG: Deron Williams
    SG: Kobe
    SF: Durant
    PF: K Love
    C: Howard
    Bench:
    LeBron
    Rose
    Wade
    Melo
    LaMarcus Aldridge
    CP3
    Lamar Odom

Why? I think Kevin Love is a perfect fit for the team. He's unselfish and has an incredibly high basketball IQ. And he'd also open up the paint for Howard to be able to go to work without teams being able to double him. I went with Deron at the PG because he's more of a traditional point and has international experience. And I chose Lamar Odom because of the flexibility he brings to the team. They can play him at the 3, 4, or 5 in international play and be alright and most likely have a mismatch at any of those positions.

Question (without looking it up): Off the top of your head, which of these 20 players has the most international experience?

Melo has the most international games played (59) than anyone else. The rest are James (55), Williams (47), Wade (40), Howard (38), Paul (37), Bosh (32) and Billups (30).
