I don't like the extreme lack of faith in AJ.

He did pretty good in September. His last disastrous start was well over a month ago.

AJ was enormous. That was refreshing and very encouraging going forward if we take game 5. Also encouraging was the offense. We didn't need that many runs but just in case AJ was bad the offense responded.

Huge kudos to Grandy for his defense.

Imma liking Nova in game 5.

Granderson is becoming my favorite Yankee... A true all around great player, can hit, field, run, hit for power... Favorite players...

BTW I think I hate Mark Texiera, WTF are we going to do with Giambi 2 for the next 4 years??? He is on his decline his BA will never sniff .280 again... he is becoming a 1 dimensional all or nothing idiot IMO

Its hard to argue against that since his offense has been missing completely. But he still provides some serious D out there. I think that's his saving grace.

Oh no doubt his defesne is great, but man, I'm pretty sure the Yankees thought they were getting a legit number 3 hitter, not a 5th or 6th type of hitter. I said when we signed him his BA would decline, becasue he has too much of a long loopy swing, and that swing is no good to aging players, if it slows down just a tad, HR's become pop outs, doubles in the gap become ground balls to 2nd basemen. Like Giambi his BA has steadily declined every year...When we got him he was more of a gap to gap with power type hitter, and now he has become Rob Deer or Mark Reynolds type... Just a HR or nothing.

Like I've said to you before. Go find out where I said Jeter is washed up and a shitty player.
It's common knowledge his defense sucks and always has.

invalid argument. the gold glove award is typically based on offensive numbers. sounds weird, right? its the absolute truth. jeter has won gold glove awards in seasons when he has been statistically the worst starting shortstop in all of baseball. he turns the least amount of balls hit his way into outs then any other starting shortstop. and this isnt a recent trend.

the gold glove award process is 100% flawed.

the tigers might want to capitalize at some point with runners in scoring position.

Buffett, one of the world's richest men and chairman of conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway Inc , said his federal tax bill last year was $6,938,744.

"That sounds like a lot of money. But what I paid was only 17.4 percent of my taxable income - and that's actually a lower percentage than was paid by any of the other 20 people in our office. Their tax burdens ranged from 33 percent to 41 percent and averaged 36 percent," he said.
