I hunt when I can, I garden when I can (live in an apartment, but I have a nice little spice garden and grew some tomatoes this summer), also I consider plastic model kit construction to be a legit hobby considering that I spend hundreds of bucks a year detailing and customizing my models. Do you know how friggen hard, yet fun, it was to turn a generic B-29 kit into the Enola Gay? Had to shape my own bomb, had to customize the paint and paid a bit for the decals. Same with adding a midget fighter to my B-36 peacemaker. I would call that a hell of a hobby. At least I've spent much moola over it. I also have a hobby of writing a thesis about Nazi-Soviet military industrial relations between the world wars. This leads me to my other hobby, namely perfecting mixed drinks that make me drunk ASAP.

I use a McDermott that I was given recently. a friend of mine bought it in the late 90s for $500. Nice stick but they never put a good tip on it. So I have to do that soon. really I could care less about inlays and what a stick looks like. The only part of the cue that touches the ball is the tip. do you play in a league?
    thanks for trying out.

Hunting, fishing, cycling, hiking, gardening, preserving what I grow, golf, bird watching. Really, just about anything that gets me outside.

So what ever happened to the Bass Pro they were going to build in Buffalo? I only get up there a couple times/year but have been looking forward to checking it out.

I'm an avid snowboarder, and I'm excited to hit it once the season starts here in Colorado. I got myself a 165cm Alpine board, this year I'm gonna try the slalom courses and see if I've got what it takes to do some boardercross racing.

Golf, baby! It's hell getting back into a swing groove after the winter. Sore as hell!
.....And you can put it on the board!

After a decade on this site, I'm ready to discuss a RELEVANT Bills team. It's time.

I work wood, with a chainsaw. I tell people it looks like things, they agree because I am standing there with a chainsaw. I just like the chainsaw, have a lot of wood laying around I convinced people looks like things. Mostly looks like cut up wood to me.

People watching is fun, although I suppose I wouldn't really call it a hobby. Maybe an awareness activity. I jet ski in the summer, and mainly watch movies and sports in the winter.

I don't really have a main hobby. I live moment by moment doing whatever satisfies me at that particular time. If I do something too many times it just gets boring.
