    Drinking beer in boats

    Anyone?

A 6 gets me to where I am going and another 6 to get me home. Been out in it quite a bit lately at nite fishing. Nothing nicer then cruising down the river at nite, except right now with the way the colours are. We have had a drier summer, so the colours are even redder then normal, and with out the rain and wind the leaves are staying on longer. Now I travel with a shotgun, it is great when you can fly up a creek or a small tributary and corner the ducks and geese, which then they have to fly right over you to get out and boom ,boom, dinner is served.

I'm sorry, but all I could hear while I read this was the song from Deliverance.

You need to get out of the city.

Drinking beer is always a good time. Unless I'm driving or shooting guns. Or doing both at the same time.

Troy is great. To bad liz twisted her ankle. It is 90 degrees here today. after work ,I am heading out for the nite on the ottawa river, do a little fishing and some season end visiting. Some friends are camping along the bonnechere river , so I will be heading up that way to for a few pints. And with a bright moon is is simple going to be awesome out there tonight.

Weather wise it was the nicest thanksgiving you could have. The colours were at there peak. A buddy of mine ,we went out in 2 boats and cruised around the islands and small inlets and popped a few ducks and a couple of partridge, Watch a doe and fawn cross from one island to the mainland right in front of us, nice to watch.

Its fun drinking beer with your friends in a boat. Just bring music and don't get drowned.

Well it is coming to a end, deer hunting starts on monday, so once the hunt is done in comes the boat. Liver needs a rest anyways.

Always drink on my buddies boat, and even take the beer on the tube when being whipped around and being thrown off.

I'm not much of a fisher or hunter, so I enjoy flying a model airplane beside a boat in addition to beer.

That is a model? Perfect pic, looks like the real size. A buddy of mine is into helicopters. What water is that?

Yeah, it's got about a 4 ft wing span I'd say, maybe larger. It's actually my father-in-law's. He buys kits and builds them.

Here's a pic with him carrying it. He's like 6'4" just to give you an idea of how big it is compared to him.

That's at Smith Mountain Lake near Roanoke, VA.
