Saranac Lake Brewery

So I am planning a trip to Lake George for me and my girl in the summer and I wanted to try and make a stop at the brewery in Saranac Lake. I was doing some brief research of the beers in their winter sampler and I saw that a lot of them are made by the Matt Brewing Company in Utica.. is there a brewery in Saranac Lake? Seems like an odd questions but I wanna make sure I'm not making that drive for nothing..

Also gonna be stopping in Cooperstown for family, the baseball HoF and maaybe the Ommegang brewery which I have been told is a great brewery that makes tasty beer, anyone ever been there?

I believe FamousAmos has been to the Ommegang brewery which I would love to go to personally, and will to someday.

But to answer your question, Saranac is made by Matt Brewing Company, so there isn't a Saranac Brewery. As you said, MBO is based in Utica.
