That would be fine if we had signed crawford, not Damon. WTF. If we sign Damon, I want him nothing more than a platoon guy. He cannot play everyday IMO

He never should've left. We could have used his clutch hitting during our post season hitting crisis.

So now that the FA dust has settled it has basically come down to Andy

If Andy comes back we go into next year with a pretty good 4 and we can figure out the 5th spot between Nova and Mitre(assuming AJ has somewhat of a bounce back season)

If however Andy doesnt come back and Nova and Mitre become our 4th and 5th starters we are in some trouble. Now we have some pitching in the minors that really took some big steps forward but none of them are coming out of ST'ing as a legit option and will be at least June before we see them(maybe mid May at the earliest) The names to keep an eye on are Manny Banuelos(really starting to shine), Brackman, Betances, Hector Noesi, Adam Warren and David Phelps are all names we could see at some point next season.

As far as the rest of the holes go we need to add a reliever(id dump a bunch of $$ in Soriano lap), a utility IF'er, and a Right handed OF'er which is why Im sure Manny's name has popped up

With how bad his defense has become didn't we have a Mini-Manny with Marcus Thames last season. (To a lesser degree)

Yankees need that RH OFer to have some pop and play defense.

Don't see that happening. He's either gonna go this year or not.

yep and we r looking at bartolo colon, jeff francis, and freddy garcia. WOW talk about no plan B. I understand there r no FA's left but get creative jesus. we are the 09 sox, remember they signed cameron, penny, and i think another old pitcher i can't remember.

IMO I wouldn't even waste my time on Colon, Francis types, I'd rather see what the young guys have. Nova, Betances, Brackman whoever

nice signing. I certainly feel good about our bullpen/closers, but I'm still waiting to see exactly what the hell the plan for starters is beyond CC, Hughes and Burnett.

I'd say beyond CC and Hughes ... Burnett is such a question mark.

They need to talk Andy into coming back somehow.

Yankees closing in on a 1 year deal with Andruw Jones. He will take over Marcus Thames spot, and is a much better outfielder than Thames,a nd hammered LHP last year!!! decent move

yikes..we almost had our 2011 Vazquez.

11:58am: Pavano seriously considered returning to the Yankees, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. The Yankees explored a one-year, high-salary deal with Pavano before the Twins offered a second year.
