As an A's fan, I'm kinda shocked. I know the team hasnt preformed well in the playoffs, but atleast they're getting there. I guess alot vets dont want him around, it'll be intresting to see who replaces him.

Yeah, maybe theres some good behind his madness, I mean, look what he does with a 60 mil payroll every year. Who knows. Only time will tell.

You know who might be a good fit for the A's?

Joe Girardi.

I mean,look what he did with Florida...a team with 1/4th the payroll of Oakland. All he did was keep the Marlins to within striking distance of the wild card until late in the season.

Jeffrey Loria was STUPID to let him go. But,then again,the past few years have seen him do one stupid move after another...destroying the Expos(now Nationals),then doing the same to Florida.
