that is one of the things that never ceases to amaze me about this team

they can use 8 guys on the pk and just about every guy but peters ont he power play, and still can use 5 of the 6 defensemen on the pp as well.

that just astounds me. The team is so well rounded.

if you really think about it. most teams have one or two solid scoring lines a defensive line and a checking line. the sabres can roll four solid offensive lines, four solid defensive lines, use guys from every line on the special teams and defensemen at the points.

To me that is what makes the sabres the best team in hockey

I agree, with out forwards and defense, haha and even goalies we can just keep rolling and sending those lines out one after another. Anyone can do the penalty kill, and most of our top 3 lines can be used on the power play, The one thing i keep thinking is when/if connolly comes back, can you imagine this team then? Scary almost.

It trickles down even further..... There's so much depth that it sucks because there are guys i'd like to see playing that can't crack the lineup

I think Regier has done an amazing job with this team. Every player on this team is a class act, a team player and is willing to contribute in anyway. We dont have any players that come out and complain about playing time and we dont have any players who draw a ton of attention from opposing teams. On any given night we can have a different player come out and have a 4 point night to carry this team. We dont have to rely on a certain line or a certain player. An all around perfectly built hockey club
