Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle flew the plane into the building in NYC, according to Mike and the Mad Dog.

This is surreal.

I'm very upset by this. I don't really know what to say. I know Cory was a Yankee, but the rivalry takes a back seat to tragic moments like this. He has been a personal favorite of mine for years. This is a verry sad thing that's happened. I'm pretty much at a loss for words; but on the other hand what can you say?

RIP Cory, and of course, my prayers go out to the whole Lidle family.

I am shocked, very surreal. Seemed like a real nice guy when i saw the interviews when he got traded. RIP cory, bless you and your family.

I was shocked when I found out, especially since I had read a thread earlier on the Range about whether or not he should remain a Yankee. Shows how unimportant things like losing a Division Series is in the grand scheme of things.
