Early as yet unconfirmed reports say Torre will be fired and Lou Pinella is in.

NEW YORK (AP) - Yankees owner George Steinbrenner said he was "deeply disappointed" at his team's elimination in the first round of the AL playoffs, calling it a "sad failure."

George is a wild man.
He does spend a ton of money.
So far its just a rumor.
I heard Lou say he hasn't heard anything.
So maybe its just a rumor floated to shake things up.
Why I don't know what purpose it could serve.

Quit your :censor:ing crying,George. YOU spent the money to bring these guys in. And now you're bent they didn't steamroll to a World Series title?

Part of the blame that the Yankees are now setting up tee times is on YOU.
