Have you guys checked out buffalobills.com lately?

Someone's taken objection to a post saying Jeff Blake wouldn't be welcome in south Buffalo because he's black.

He demanded the mods delete the thread and when they didn't he started spamming the board like crazy.

Now he's posted his rant dozens of times under a title that tells people to go to BBI where "they don't censor posts".

Some of the regulars are starting to think it's a BBI plot.

It's utterly ridiculous!

The official site is a joke. A new member here at BBI, just the other day, mentioned that he left that board because they're still carrying on about DF! Can you believe that? I can't believe how many people are still going on about that. Do you think they even realize that Cowart is in limbo, or that Blake might sign, or that the Bills went 3-13 last year? Shiva, I make no bones about my hatred for BBI mods. They actually called my place of work to complain about the anti-rob posts I made. This was AFTER banning me AND that computer from posting. They called my boss JUST TO HARRASS ME.

If you were on bbi at the time, you know I did not use bad language or make threats or anything of that sort. I was harrassed at work by them purely 'cause they couldn't stand the fact that when they posted "stats" to defend rob, I would go to espn.com and find the REAL stat and post it. They hated getting caught in their lies.

As for implicating them in the spam effort here - I did not originate that. But I do find it odd that the bbi guys are now here just after the spam started. Why are bbi mods over here?

I can state absolutely, that our faithful moderators are not commie facists like those on other boards. I lurked and read the S.Wall for a long time before I posted. Than last summer I wanted to talk with other fans about my opinion that keeping (not trading) RJ was a bad move. My posts kept getting deleted. I got mad and posted a couple of times under "RJ sucks"- OK, I know it was juvenile.... I e-mailed those moderators and asked why I kept getting deleted. He said the "community" didn't like post not backing the party line. I've never been deleted here, though I did get into it a couple of times with wys and Fab.

I remember those posts! I spend VERY little time at that waste of a site, but I remember you posting over there. Yes, TSW is now party line. Why? Because the official site tells them to be. THey get that little link advertising them on the front page of bb.com, and in return, they are party line. Not as bad as the official site was, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if the two officially merge soon and try to come up with more users combined than BBi has now. Good luck.

I'll address the Flutie-word being banned, Justafan.

I was here for that decision, and I supported it. Its intent was to prevent the RJ-DF debates from clogging up the main board after mighty mite was gone to SD. We didn't ban it on the QB Debate board, because that was where we WANTED those debates taking place. However, we received NUMEROUS complaints about the DF-RJ debates and had to come up with something.

Of course, it didn't work and we learned a valuable lesson from it, but that was the intent.

Can someone please define "spamming" for our younger readers?

"Spamming" is the sending of multiple e-mails or message board posts to people who don't want them. It can either be one e-mail sent to numerous recipients who did not solicit it (as most e-mail advertisements are...it is illegal) or the posting of multiple copies of the same thing to a message board over and over again, usually either off-topic, offensive, or harrassing.

shiv, nice try to get some people back to your awful site. I bit of controversy over there with the rob lovers sounds like a nice way to get SOME interest in BBI. Not gonna work.
