BAGHDAD, Iraq (Reuters) -- The Iraqi government said it had secured the dismissal of the chief judge trying Saddam Hussein on genocide charges after he said last week that the former Iraqi president was not a dictator.

Government spokesman Ali Dabbagh told Reuters the court had agreed to replace Abdullah al-Amiri with a new judge.

The court could not be immediately reached to confirm this development. A U.S. official close to the court said he was unaware of any change.

It does appear rigged but what can we do?

It does appear rigged but what can we do?

1. Move it to the Hague
2. Try ALL of the war criminals including daddy and baby bush, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Baker, Schwartzkopf, and the like.

DO this and you have no more rigged trial. Of course the BA gets more egg on its face, but what would be new with that?

But neh, he is being tried by his own people, our laws don't apply. Not my argument but one stated by a bozo neocon I had the misfortune of talking to.

He didn't get the memo.

He wanted out anyway.

I think they still fear the dude.

They will always fear him until they execute him.

Maybe if he would splain where he hid the WMD's he would be allowed to live.

No that can't happen he doesn't know where they all went.

He hasn't had any in his grimy mitts for some time now.

Does anybody think he'll be found innocent of any of the charges?
