Sabres Uniforms Pass Unofficial Test

Just to get a LEGITIMATE non-biased reaction to the uniforms I called 6 hockey fans into my office. Two were Hurricanes fans. One was a New Jersey fan. One was a Bruins fan. One was a Avalanche fan and One A Ranger fan. The only thing these 6 guys had in common was their dislike for the Sabres. None knew that we were coming out with a new uniform. I then played a clip from the Sabres-Toronto game and five out of the six guys liked them. The number on the front got the most comments. The one that didn't like them said they were too much like the Predators. So contrary to all the "official" polls out there people do seem to like the new jersey.

Six guys like the jersey, they must be cool. I like the jersey design, I could do without that foolish logo.

I could see how someone might like it, or at least not dislike it, but as Buffalo Sabres fans, many have a nostalgic connection with the original crest. It's different for us than the rest of the world.

I'm a big fan of the number on front too, I think that's pretty cool.

Classic. Yes, it was the Ranger fan who disliked it. But at the same time the New Jersey fan thought they were awesome.

It is just me or did everyone else in this thread forget that nobody cares what non Sabres fans think of our logo? Bottom line, if the Sabres fans hate the logo and refuse to buy anything bearing the logo it needs to be changed. What if the majority of hockey fans had liked the new Islanders logo when all of the Isles fans hated it? You can't decide if a logo is good by asking people who won't be buying Sabres merchandise anyway.

The colors are great, logo sucks. Once we start winning it won't matter anymore. I will personally be buying the throwback, atleast we have that.
