With the 3rd overall pick (acquired from Edmonton) Wednesday, the Bandits selected Brett Bucktooth from Syracuse. San Jose traded the 2006 Rookie of the Year, Ryan Boyle, to New York for the 1st overall pick giving them the first two picks. They chose Ryan Benesch and Kyle Sorensen.

The rest of the Bandits picks:

18 from MIN-SJ (2) Joe Walters (Maryland)
24 (2) Jay Thorimbert (Niagara Falls, ON)
37 (3) Brendon Thenhaus (Oakville, ON)
47 from CGY (4) Brent Miller (Niagara, ON)
50 (4) Nolan Godfrey (Merrimack)
76 (6) Daniel Sams (Peterborough, ON)

Draft day trades involving us:

Buffalo traded the 30th overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft to Minnesota in exchange for Minnesota's third round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.

Buffalo traded the 63rd overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft to Minnesota in exchange for Minnesota's fifth round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft

Nice work on the thread. Since I'm not a mod anymore, I've lost motivation to do anything constructive here.

Bucktooth will be a stud here, him up top with Bomberry firing away is going to be amazing. I hope the HSBC has extra glass because one of them will break some at some point, but hopefully they dont, i'd rather them put it on net.

As for Joe Walters he should be a solid D man and I'm excited to see him play. I'm pretty sure Nolan Godfrey is a good faceoff guy, but I dont know if he'll crack the lineup.

Bucktooth; meh, another 'cuse/nations kid; no suprise there.

IL had a feature on Godfrey though, he's already our top FO guy and he's only a draft pick!

I might be scooping some more info this weekend.

Looking at that picture only one thing comes to mind, Darris hasn't missed many meals...lol
