The NY Jets today announced that QB Brooks Bollinger was traded to the Vikings for 2nd year DT C.J. Mosely and a future draft pick. Mosely, 6'3" 305 pounds, had 19 tackles and 3 sacks in 12 games in his rookie year last year for Minnesota.

I live in Westchester right outside of the City so i'm in Jets territory. I have been to every home game since 1990.

I am furious about McClover and Dreesen. McClover is our best STs player, to cut him is insane and mangini is being short-sided about STs. When BP came in here in '97 the biggest reason we won 9 games was b/c of our improved STs play b/c he put so much emphasis on it and losing a guy like McClover is big and we saw how big last year when he was hurt.

I am stunned about Dreesen, we pick up 2 journeymen TEs, get rid of a decent pass catching TE then we cut Dreesen? It makes no sense.

the only other one I am little surpsied by is maddox, i thought he did enough to make the team.

Hi went to Catskill for the weekend, just got back. Thanks so much for the cut list. I COULDN'T AGREE MORE WITH YOUR FEELINGS !!! Dreesen was a up and coming TE. With him and Jolley gone who the hell is going to catch any passes if Baker goes down? McClover was a demon on ST. I know coach Parcells said when he 1st took over the Jets that ST was 1/3 of your team. How right he is !! We won a lot of games with ST play. You'd think Tangini would know that having been part of that Parcells family.

Brooks is a pretty solid backup once he learns the system where ever he goes, I thought maybe the Jets would keep him for that reason

The problem is they just drafted Clemens, brooks showed he can play but he didn't have a future here so they got something back for him rather than cut him and get nothing. I wish him well in Minny.
