I get "NOT FOUND" when I try your link to Aravosis.

I assume this means he's been summoned back to the Mother Ship and that his mission on Earth has ended.

CKG:

I can understand that John A. is irritated by this remembrance, but it all comes off as a bit cranky.

It's like someone griping about all the Christmas specials on TV in December, or all the college bowl games in early January, or the number of car commercials on TV, or anything else that gets on your nerves ...

If you don't like it, fine, but how does your venting improve things for anyone but yourself?

[Obviously, I don't think there's a darned thing wrong with sharing 9/11 memories.]

Rob: The response varies with the person-just like grief.

Some can't wait to spill the beans.

Others got kicked in the package by it so badly that just thinking about it opens up the same wounds to bleed again.

John,I'd say, goes in the latter category. But he brings up a point: if we're going to do this for 9/11,why don't we do it for everything? Probably because it cheapens the person's life, and has us only thinking of how they died.

unlike christmas, college football, or a new car.... 9/11 was a tragedy.

these "where were you" ads are a load of horse****. it's just more "feel sorry for us" crap in a country full of pussies. ****ing martyrdom. nothing sucks worse than wanna-be martyrs.
