During the halftime report of the Colts Hawks game, NBC apparently reported that Bledsoe was indeed out in favor of Tony Romo.

If true, is this the ultimate embarrassment?

A guy with quasi HOF numbers benched in favor of JP Losman and Tony Romo.

This is a hell of a development folks.

I'm putting some money on the Cowboys this season.

Stay tuned.

Bledsoe is a respected QB, but he's old. I wish he was still with the Bills

Don't worry.

That simply means you don't know anything about football.

I'm sure you can still enjoy a reasonably productive life.

Does anyone really think that JP or Holcombe could beat Bledsoe out at this point? If so, send your kool-aid recipe to me please :)

As for Romo in Dallas, Parcells has spoken ad-nauseum about wanting to give Romo time in pre-season because he lacks any real game experience as a back-up. Parcells isn't Mularky. He's smart enough to know that guys like Romo, JP and Holcomb won't be replacing a quality QB like Bledsoe anytime soon.

BTW..how's that Bills o-line looking with a mobile qb behind it :) From what I saw they looked worse with JP than they ever did with Bledsoe.

I'd rather see JP get sacked while looking to make a play 10 times than ever see Bledsoe turtle 2 secs before pressure even reaches him again (sorry for the run on sentence, but how would you word that?)

So you enjoy 5-11 JP led teams vs. 9-7 Bledsoe led teams then :) Great choice!!

haha. 9-7 and a loss the last game of the season vs 2nd and 3rd stringers with a playoff birth on the line. Now that's something to be proud of. Bledsoe is a born winner.

In his fourth season, Bledsoe had been to the playoffs twice plus a superbowl.

Losman can't even get his team to .500.

Plus hanging that loss solely on Bledsoe is stupid. They had bad coaching, pathetic defense and bad special teams in that game too.

Mularky and Losman went on to prove just how bad they were after Bledsoe left. 5-11, pathetic. Anyone can replace Bledsoe afterall, he was very ineffective for the Bills.

Hindsight being 20/20, we gave up on DB too soon. Not that we'd have done much better last year, but it was obvious that Losman wasn't ready yet. I think that Drew can still be a winning QB in the league, but I don't really see him leading a team to a SB. I think he can be an effective starter on a SB team lead by a running game & strong defense, occasionally relying on DB's big arm for a win here and there. For him to be effective, the team has to be very strong around him, that may or may not be the case in Dallas.

I don't think you gave up on Bledsoe too soon. He needed and I think the Ills fans needed a change. It wasn't pretty his last year here. You are most correct in that he needs a strong team around him. I think he has that in Dallas this year.

Every QB needs a strong D and a strong running game. Bledsoe saved the 'Boys bacon in many games last year because the D was weak. With one of the best D's in the league this year and a good o-line, the Boys will do very well this year. And Bledsoe is likely to be a top 5 qb statistically with TO and a good oline.

If the WR's are gonna catch everything thrown near them as they did Monday, it's gonna be a nice season.

They were making circus catches, weren't they :) You need those type of receivers to have success against today's defensive backs.

The keys to the Cowboys success will be a better offensive line, better defense and Vanderjadt. Put Vanderjadt on last years Cowboy team and they would have gone 12-4. Oh yes, TO might help too :D
