damnit, I told you guys we shoulda drafted him....

Anyone see this guy play? Looks great to me. It doesn't mean he will pan out and be a stud NFL QB but I liked his prospects before and I like them more now.

Yea he would have been a nice pick

He and Cutler have been very impressive

add M.Cassel and there the 3 best young QB's I have seen this Preseason

All 3 have above 100 QB ratings and are the top 3 yardage leaders. I dont put alot into stats in the preseason but it is still impressive

I agree but you only made 1 correct statement and that is it is only Preseason. You see a lot of this happening in Preseasons. Craig Nall was a Pro Bowl Preaseason star at GB.

I watched him again last night and he definetly has what a lot of other QB's don't.

Gradkowski looks like a seasoned pro, and has earned the respect of his coach and team-mates. He would have been a perfect pick for a city like Bufalo. We will have to get used to him doing real well in Tampa.

gradkowski was really good at toledo, but he was overshadowed by big ben, and omar jacobs.

he would have been a nice pick as would nick kaczur also from ut

Agree got to see him on tv living in Tampa. He hangs in the pocket like a vet, takes hits as he throws. Had great touch. People forget he has the NCAA record for pass compl %.
Yea it would have been a sweet late round pick.

But it is preseason , would like to see him against #1 defenses

Was Gradkowski even a starter when Big Ben was in the MAC? If he was, he was only a sophomore. As for Jacbos, he only threw for like a 100 more yards than Gradkowski but Toledo was a much better overall offense.

Well, he played Miami last night and fared pretty well. He also didn't throw a ball past 10 yards except for on a busted coverage play by Miami's first round pick. I'm not sold on the dump off tactics his offense has employed for him yet.

He also made a terrible throw at a critical time for his time that was intercepted to end their hopes of a win. Like others have said, let's wait until he goes up against guys that won't being serving fries next week before we declare him the second coming.

Matt Cassel looked pretty good last night, and against Miami's D at the end of last year. He was an out of nowhere pick if I've ever seen one. He played TE at USC his senior year for goodness sakes.

yes he came out as a senior a year after big ben came out as a junior.

and while jacobs may have only thrown for 100 more yards, the year before he had about 12 more td passes

the offenses in the mac are rahter strange, miami runs a pass oriented offense, BG runs a bubble screen type offense, and toledo is the most traditional, but still has elements of both.

I only saw a little bit of the Miami game but in the little bit I did see he looked very good and this statement is untrue.

Anyway, I'll move this now as it is less and less about the Bills

Man you hit the nail on the head as far as an out of nowhere pick!! Watched him this week and I must say he looked great. Actually the whole Pats team looked great ! I think that the news of the Pats death might , perhaps be a bit premature.

I've talked to Gradkowski online a few times. Nice guy.

A buddy of mine went to Toledo for a year and introduced me to him.

I watched the whole game, and the statement is true. He was dinking and dunking for ten yards or less against Miami's third and fourth stringers. Did he look good? Yes, he did look good.

Did he throw the ball over ten yards for other than one play and complete it? Not that I saw. It was short stuff that his receivers ran afterwards. Not a big deal to me either way. He's a Buc, not a Bill or Dolphin.

I hate to say it but another big QB surprise for me has been the play of Harrington for MIA, albeit against second stringers in the preseason, but his arm and decisions have looked solid. After this year he may be on the trading block.

If you think about it... it's not too surprising he's doing well.

He didnt do that badly in Detroit and as we are now finding out, those supposed "weapons" weren't very good.

Then there is the "chip on shoulder" factor and "wake-up call" factor he's got on his side.
