Hes was a solid backup, I felt more comfortbale with him around. Looks like is up to Poulin to back up Chugger unless we bring someone else in?

Bring in Cosmo, I thought I heard distant rumors somewhere of that not being so far fetched.

Cos would LOVE to play here. I think he may even settle for the back up spot for the time being, knowing Chugger probably doesn't have a whole lot of time left. I sure would feel better with an experienced netminder like Cos waiting in the wings!

As long as the Bandits don't get General back to backup Chugger, I am not to worried about who the backup is.

Problem is Cosmo wouldn't come cheap tradewise. And if we don't need him for at least another season maybe we should wait until we do to get him? Johnny T only has so long left in him too, we do wanna get him one more title aside from being the all-time leading goal scorer which he could get with 1 great season. Chugger could maybe have 2 years left in the tank too, then we use our top pick for the best goalie we can get if Cosmo is out of the question by then.

My hunch; When Chug's hangs 'em up Cosmo winds up in B-Lo. JT "might" be shipped when that time comes though to sweeten the deal and to grow the league ala Gait-style-ish.
The team has a good solid core right now but netminder is awfully thin right now losing Monster. A "thinner" pool of talent makes it that much more of a concern. Sadly General may be the one on our bench again unless we can RESIGN QUINNER!!! (-:

No, Cos would definitely not come cheap, unless he was willing to sit out, which I don't think he is ... yet. I know the travel to the west coast is beginning to get to him, and he does want to play closer to home. With that being said, I don't think, however, that he is ready to demand a trade. The nature of this league can put quite a bit of power in the players hands regarding where they play. Not that this will happen this year, or maybe never will ... but it's always a possibility.
