Poor woman ,Its not easy to be tooled around by the moonbats.
The left is killing Cindy....lol
By ANGELA K. BROWN
Associated Press Writer
WACO, Texas
Anti-war demonstrator Cindy Sheehan was hospitalized Friday evening for dehydration and exhaustion after fasting for more than a month and protesting earlier this week in 100-degree weather, friends and relatives said.
Sheehan was listed in stable condition at Providence Health Center in Waco. Brenda Mauk, a nursing supervisor, declined to release additional information.
Sheehan, 49, was hospitalized after friends picked her up Friday afternoon at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, where she arrived after spending several days in Seattle at the Veterans for Peace convention, said friend Tiffany Burns.
Sheehan, who has been on a liquid diet as part of the nationwide "Troops Home Fast" hunger strike, had been treated and released from a Seattle emergency room Thursday night. On doctors orders, she ate for the first time in about 37 days, Burns said.
Sheehan also underwent additional tests for uterine bleeding, her sister Dede Miller said.
Sheehan was to spend Friday night in the Waco hospital but planned to attend some war protest activities Saturday at the 5-acre lot she bought last month in Crawford, President Bush's adopted hometown, about 20 miles from Waco.
Sheehan kicked off her summer war protest Sunday, the one-year anniversary of her first anti-war demonstration in Crawford that attracted more than 10,000 people over 26 days

I regret saying such mean things about her. Thinking about it she was an emotional wreck after her son's death. And thus very vunerable. And a certain group saw an opprotunity. And here she is today.

One of the hardest losses a parent could ever experience is the LOSS of a child.
I say GOD BLESS YOU CINDY. Keep on standing up for what you believe in.
We dont know what its like until it happens to your own family. When it does you get the feeling of a ton of bricks just fell down on you. So much pressure.

My brother was 26 years old when he died in an accident.
It was seven years ago and we still deal with it.
People deal with the loss of a child in different ways. I just don't agree with Cindy's choice.

I agree Sue that loss is the worst possible.
She needs to grieve.
Her family wants her off the national stage.
They fear she's being used.
I support her in her personal grief 100%.
She just needs to start taking care of herself.
Many families have lost loved ones in this awful War.
They all need time to heal.
I just hate watching her being manipulated.
Politicians will stop at nothing to exploit her on both sides.
That's why Cindy needs to take a step back and examine.
What's really happening around her.
We all know her loss was great and we support her in that.
She should always stand up for what she believe's in.
But she should try and avoid these vultures who only use her.
I wish her peace in her heart it may never completely come.
The loss of a child my own family has experience in this area.
My sister-in-law's five year old daughter died by drowning.
Nothing worse have I experienced.
The grief was unimaginable.
You try and put yourself in their place but you really can't.

Coming from a Mother's perspective. Carry the child for 9 months. Nurture them. Watch him grow. Its the mother child bond which is much stronger than a sibiling bond. This lady is devastated still over the loss of her son.
There was an incident in the 1980's I believe. Well, a nutcase went off on a NYC subway with a fire arm. Shot many people. The mother of 2 of the victims is now a NY Congresswoman. She lost her husband and her son is paralized.

Some mothers carry their grief silently, like my mom. Some become a member of Congress, like the one you cited. And, thankfully, a precious few stalk the President and starve themselves and do everything short of setitng themselves on fire in order to draw attention.

Tons of anxiety fullfilling her.

she has a right to speak her mind. i'm defending that right (for 2 reasons):
#1 i've actually read the Constitution and believe in freedom of speech
#2 she lost her son - and IMO she can deal with it any way she has to. if that means a hunger strike, so be it. if that means demanding a conversation with the president, so be it.

I don't hate here, but I think left wingnuts are exploiting her. I agree with her hatred towards Der Monkey and if one of my friends or relatives died in this stupid war I would probably pick up the anti-war banter even more. That being said, she now seems like a crazy person and it would be best for the peace movement if she would step down. I grieve for her, I support the peace movement and support the peace movement, but the left wingnuts to my knowledge now have her spewing their entire platform. BTW didn't she also say something after Katrina that the US government needs to end its occupation of New Orleans or some such thing?

I believe there will be dramatic reductions in our military forces.
There will be however a let's call it a security force.
There will be some unrest as we leave.
The Iraqi's might need some protection from the radicals still there.
But it's getting close to time for drawing down.
When exactly is a great question who really know's.
But with all the political pressure.
I don't think it will be very much longer.

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan (search), who was camped outside President Bush's Texas ranch for the past few weeks, says Hurricane Katrina (search) is all President Bush's fault, insisting that the president is "[now] heading to Louisiana to see the devastation that his environmental policies and his killing policies have caused."

Unfortunately, she seemed ideal at the time. She was a grieving mother of a soldier killed in Iraq and she was willing to do anything she was told to do.
What's sad is that after squeezing every last drop of press that they could out of Cindy, her pals have abandoned her.
