Danny boy is the guy who came in here and told all of us he is afraid of the organization won't try to keep these guys together. Well, it seems that the players and the organization are doing their best to keep you guys together except you. IMO, some of these guys are taking a little less money to play here. What gives? Why is money always on the organization's shoulders?

agreed, that talk he had on WGR, "this summer its not about danny briere's contract," and then goes out and doesn't sign for multiple years, granted, we don't know what he was offered, but it obviously wasn't enough for danny who wants enough money, not the team, I was a little disappointed, I really liked what he said and now am questioning that

well in his defense he said he wants a four-year contract and he said they never offered him one.

He knew what he was doing going to an arbitrator. And there isn't one of you if you were awarded 5 Million that would be willing to say,"you know what your Honor I think I'll give a couple mill back cause I want the boys to be taken care of.He probably raced out of there so fast he was shopping for a small island resort by dinner time.

Agreed. It's a strange mentality some fans have. These guys have short careers. The vast majority probably breezed through HS and never went to college. They need to earn as much as they can now because they aren't going to get another big payday after hockey. Not to mention one big hit and that time comes to an abrupt end. Granted, a yearly salary for them is probably a lifetime salary for a lot of us. But still. I'd never come down on anybody for making the most of their opportunity.

Then don't open your mouth and criticize the team that they aren't willing to do what it takes to keep the team together if keeping the team together is that important.

Bottom line, you've got to pay the talent what they're worth, or they walk.

golisano needs to make money, thats why he has the team. I agree, everybody knows they can't have 5-7 million dollar players, it is useless to criticize the organization. They are doing their best.
