Did the U.N. set up those peacekeepers to die?

Stories are starting that the head of the UN kofi anam (SP) left those peacekeepers in harms way hopeing something will happen. Kofi was very quick at the start to blame Isreal. I heard ,but don't know yet of a e-mail from the canadian killed about how hezbolla was using the soldiers of that outpost as human shields. Alot of hezbolla attacks came from that area. The e-mail was to have said that they told the UN about this and that they should be pulled out ,but they said to stay. Is the UN allowing this shit to happen just to prove the left right? Take alook at what kofi has done since he took over and it is nothing but failure.

And what were they doing doug,are they supposed to just sit there in the middle of a war zone. The UN has failed in afghanstan, rwanda ,dafur, and big time in lebanon. Personally, I don't think Kofi is smart enough, competent enough, or respected enough that he could possibly pull it off.

It was "wrong time, wrong place" for the UN guys. They should have used their weapons and driven the Hizballah terrorists off BEFORE Israel bombed them. Assuming this story is accurate, of course, and the nasty raghead murderers really were in proximity to the base.
