Are blacks and other ethnicities simply not Bills fans or representative of Buffalo?

I'm just curious here.

This is true, and you raise a valid concern. I think some of us are from races that are not caucazoid, but I think the reason that most of us post from a white perspective is because it is where we get our identity. No, not racially speaking but culturally. We have a Eurocentric world view because we have over time been educated to think with that mindset.

What would you say the percentage of any NFL football team's message boards' posters are black? Or any college or pro sports team for that matter?

I could be wrong, but for whatever the reason is, I don't think this board is any different than most, as far as racial makeup.

There are two other sports boards I go to once in a while. One is a Syracuse basketball board. I'd say that is predominantly white (comparable to this board). The other is a football coaches' board (for HS, college, and pro). That is a much more diversified board.

So, is there an explanation for all that?

Nope. At least in Ontario, there are no Metis treaty rights, so I wouldn't get sales tax exemption, additional fishing/hunting rights, post-secondary education benefits, border movement etc. that status Indians enjoy.

If I wanted those, I'd have to move to Manitoba or Saskatchewan (where my mom's family's Metis roots are), but who the **** wants to live there ?

Although it is provincial sales tax exemption rather the federal GST, I always though the right derived from federal policy and thus it did NOT change from province to province.

It's treaty rights that determine native status and the rights and benefits that flow from those treaties. Apparently there are treaties with Metis groups in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, while there are no treaties in Ontario, so Ontario Metis are SOL.
