I had one of those days where it feels the entire world punches you in the face, and takes away any confidence you might have. I know I am hated on these boards, but maybe this could be a fun thread if you could just keep the ripping to a minimum. It could be a social interaction similar to soldiers getting drunk the night before a big battle, and telling their life stories. Sex, lust, pain... all qualities that make a good thread can be included

Today I realized just how low in the food chain I really am... How I constantly let people push me around, how retarded I really sound, how being myself is a bad thing society.

Lets face it; I've never been afraid to be different, and never have been afraid to forumulate my own beliefs, and decisions... I always believed that these puppets in society who act like their stereotype(partying teenagers for example) were idiots, but you know what? They are the happiest.... And that is the true meaning of life right??

So, the question becomes.. do I continue to be my own man and be miserable, or do I become a puppet to society in exchange for happiness.

OK kid, stop with the self pity because it is soooo lame and just makes people respect you less and walk on you more. Drop the sense of superiority because you are not smarter or better than anyone else and again when you act that way people aren't gonna like you (imagine that). You need to learn to be happy with yourself and to not care if people are judging you. If you dont like partying, dont do it. I sense that you are one of those kids who secretly wants to party but by not doing so you are trying to show the world how you are better than them. Drop the conflictions. You can still be smart and an individual without giving off the "im better than you" vibe and without being a "puppet" to society -whatever the hell that means. You've stated you want to get bigger/stronger before, well, it's called hard work- you wont get what you want if you dont go after it (if you want workout tips start a thread and you'll get a lot of good advice).... btw it will not increase your chances with the ladies if you still have the personality of a tool. Start enjoying life because you're only on this world once and you might as well have fun. When you drop the emo, negativity you project people will be drawn to you more. Spread love, not hate. Stop being melo-dramatic and assuming people hate you. I used to have some problems with depression and used to have a mindset similar to yours around 8th and 9th grade. How did I get over it? I manned up and changed my outlook on things from negative to positive. I dropped the excuses. I told the doctors prescribing me medications for a "chemical imbalance" to **** off and stopped accepting their BS. I realized that things could only get better and the past would only hurt me if I let it. Maybe the town I lived in was easier than others because there arent many clicks and basically everyone respects people as long as they are friendly, but I am a firm beleiver that this type of approach will work with anyone. If you are a good person and respect others and dont act too outlandish and people still have beef with you then screw them and start fresh in college where that kind of teen drama is rare.... but remember most people who act like that have some sort of problem with themselves. I am only starting to realize how screwed up most people are even if they dont seem like it. and of course nobody wants to be judged to disliked so just remember that in social situations, the other person has the same anxieties as you even if they hide them better. alright im kinda out of random shit to throw at the wall but i hope some of it stuck, good luck.

You have to admit that some of the threads about sex had to be motivated by getting people pissed off.
