She would put Nascar over the top IMO, but if she doesnt get a deal at say Hendrick,Roush, Childress or Ganassi she won't be competitive. It says she was guest of Roush so if she goes there it'd be a great move, Nascar is the deepest divison of all racing and if she wont be at or near the front it won't be such a great idea.

I'd rather have Danica stay in the IRL than jump to NASCAR. Like it or not,she's the face of the Indy league and if she goes,say good bye to anyone caring about open car racing anytime soon.

Sure,she'd bring more pub to NASCAR on a daily basis if she jumped. But at this stage of her racing career,is it the best move for her driving wise? IMO,no. In a few years,maybe.

Does she have any stock car experience? If not it will take her a few years before she is even competitive on the Busch scene let alone the Nextel Cup (or whatever it will be called) level. There is a big difference between the open wheel cars and stock cars. Very few drivers have been sucessful in making the switch.

What I don't understand is why Jack Rousch would be interested in Danica. Obviously he gets a HUGE PR boost, but what car is he going to put her in? Edwards...no, Kennsith...no, Biffle...no, McMurray...maybe, Martin...if he's going to retire, but that is sounding 50/50 at the moment and I believe there was plans to bring up some hot shot in the truck series to replace Mark. Plus isn't Jack Rousch being force to cut down to four teams in the next few years?
