View Full Version : This is what the military has dropped to....

members of hate groups sneaking into the armed forces despite regulations in place forbidding them...simply because recruiters are up against it in meeting their quotas....

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/07/washington/07recruit.html

Those regulations that were put in place to keep jagoffs like these from joining the military is yet another legacy of Tim McVeigh. It was he who, while in the Army, recruited 2 other soliders in his bomb plot. And another factor was the three white paratroopers who randomly killed a black couple just so they could get some tattoos.

I never thought that our military would drop to this level. If people who served in the armed forces were aware of this,I'd bet they would be not only sad,but extremely pissed.

Members of hate groups have always been in the military. It's on the rise now, so MORE probably are, but it's not a completely new phenomenon. They get training and experience to do the stupid shit they want to do, and they get it at taxpayers' expense.

The Army is the main problem--they're having the most trouble recruiting right now. Marines next. You can see it in the kinds of kids hanging out at the gym, the rec center, or the dorms on-base. The vandalism in the dorms, the robbing of convenience stores outside the bases, etc.

In five years, the Army will be as bad as it was post-Nam, IMHO.

that's pretty messed up, but stealth is right. always has been true.

would hate to see another mcveigh though. i'm not so psyched about tax money being used to train racists to kill more efficiently.

but c'est la vie!

And that incident on a Delta airline yesterday isn't going to help matters much, either.

Turns out that:

a. the guy alleged to have done it was in the Army, and

b. one of his relatives said he had mental problems related to his time spent in the service.

Sad,indeed.

I'm shocked that Army units don't tear themselves apart sometimes. The Army attracts large numbers of black and hispanic kids. Mixing them with the TIm McVeigh morons and the racists should cause more problems than it does, bu tI think the LOSERS stay covert until they're out, just so they keep getting the training.

don't forget the gang graffiti (crips or bloods, i don't remember) that was found in baghdad.

all kinds o' riff-raff with guns and training in killin'.

We went through this @ 10 years ago. CFB Petawawa was becoming a haven for this kind of thinking & when they sent the boys over to Somalia, a bunch of these turds wound up beating a Somali kid to death and taking trophy pictures.

Big hoopla in the press, big court case, one of the soldiers involved tried to commit suicide. When it was all said and done Chretien really rubbed their noses in it, disbanding the Airborne Regiment stationed at Pet and to add insult to injury, their barracks has now been converted into a cheap hostel where hockey and baseball teams in town for tournaments can stay for cheap.

A lot of the remaining turds got quietly discharged/demoted, etc. and we haven't heard much about skinhead/racial activity in the Canadian Military since.

Hey, I'm a bit ignorant on the Canadian military. Conscript service or voluntary?

Voluntary

At some of the schools in Mass.the moonbats have teams to try to stop kids from joining the military. The left is working to stop people from going into
the Army and now thay bitch that its dropping to a low level.

Voluntary

Interesting. I could understand them getting in if it were a conscript force...everyone's in. But that incident makes me wonder how widespread this tactic is around the world. Kinda scary.

I got out of the RA in 95 I was in a infantry unit for 10 years and we did
not have a large number of blacks or hispanic Troops. For some reason most go to fields that have job training that will help them when thay get out.

It was almost like we had two Armys ...the tip of the sword and the support
units.

Well, I retired almost ten years after that, and still work with military. LARGE number of blacks and hispanics in the services now.

Well, get back to me when someone in your neck of the woods comes back from the service and sprays Aryan Nations graffiti all over the place.

This has more to do with us not searching for the best and brightest-and going to the bottom of the barrel as a result, because of a constant push to meet recruitment goals due to the Iraq war being as popular as the Carolina Hurricanes around these parts-than ANY plots "the left" is cooking up.

Well-stated, though anti-military sentiment is rising. I don't think it's an organized thing--just a growing resentment among those predisposed to not liking the military anyway.

I think you make some very strong points without a doubt.
The bottom of the barrel that well might be.

I think it has something to do with the activities among some of the troops in the service now...recall the ex-private now on trial in federal court for the alleged rape of a young girl and the murders of not only her,but members of her family. As well as many other acts that have been reported-whether they're true or not,it gets sent through the grapevine in Iraq and serves to inflame a people that's growing more fed up with the occupation by the day.

Forget the ass holes that join the military to hurt America.

It's the police force that has the biggest bunch of shitheads on patrol.

90% of cops are the real enemy.

It's kinda funny ya know. The active army hovers around 475,000 give or take. If you take the crime rate of that, and any other statistics; it's pretty much on par with any other civilian statistic. The only difference is, in the army, it's more of a closed number, and people overreact when bad things happen. All in all, don't expect the army to "fall" to post vietnam status, that's a joke. The army is 100 times more professional than that army. As far as saying that people associated with hate groups are joining due to recruiter quotas; come on. They can sneak in just as easy as a gay. Like i said, due to the closed population of the Army, people overreact.

but c'est la vie! :rockon:There's alot of places you can learn to kill efficiently. I don't think it's a bad thing to have gang members or racists in the military. They will learn discipline and interact with people of other races and hopefully learn that they are not so different from them after all. Deprograming if you will, at least in regard to other people.

I tell you, man.

I've never -- NEVER -- had a good experience with cops.

Supposedly they're around to "protect & serve" but all they do is harass & annoy.

Cops are losers.

I actually throw huge parties everytime a local cop dies here in Jacksonville.

Dead Cop parties are my favorite kind.

I've never been a victim of crime, only a victim of ******** cops that go out of their way to **** me over.

Yeah but even if I was a victim of crime, I guarantee the cops wouldn't help in any way.

That COULD be due to those "dead cop parties" of yours....just a thought.

Look, there are TONS of a-hole cops out there. I've said in the past that I think many police forces are way corrupted by the mob, politics, race groups, etc. But 90% of cops are bad? No way.

I've dealt with the cops here in CO Eight times. I'll sum them up to demonstrate my feelings on the cops here:

1. My wife was assaulted at her place of employment. Guy twisted her arm up behind her back and shoved her against a wall. Officer Kim D came to our house within thirty minutes of my phone call. She personally went to the place of employment THAT NIGHT and served him a summons to court on assault charges. She was awesome. Experience: Positive.

2. I was pulled over by a CSPD officer for going 45 in a 30. (My wife was talking to me and I didn't pay attention...you know how that is...). He was about the nicest guy I have ever met. Thanked me for my military service to the country. Wrote the ticket for fewer points and advised me the best way to get the fine and points reduced. Experience: Positive.

3. My wife was pulled over for an obscure traffic law here in the Springs. She entered an intersection on a yellow light. Female motorcycle cop pulled her over and was a complete dikey bitch to her. Ticketed her for running a red light because the law here says that if you enter an intersection on yellow, your REAR TIRES must leave the intersection before the light changes to red. Designed to keep cars from getting stopped in the middle of intersections, but there was no one in front of her or behind her. It was the law they'd chosen to enforce that week. Experience with officer: Negative.

4. My daughter got in trouble in fourth grade. After a week of daily 2-hour DARE classes, she and her friends decided to see if the training had worked. So her friend brought in a baggy of hot chocolate mix and they walked around the playground trying to pass it off as coccaine and asking if anyone wanted any. The ONLY kids who said "NO" were the special ed class (LOL...so who's REALLY smarter?). School wanted to EXPEL her and her friends. Wanted them charged with "imitation of a controlled substance" and kicked out for good, even though they were all straight-A students with no prior disciplinary issues whatsoever. School resource officer Dave P stepped in and said he would not charge them because they were good kids who just made a mistake. He talked to them all, and made sure they uderstood what they did wrong, and they were ok from that point on. Experience: positive.

5. I was stopped by a CO State Trooper for doing 89 in a 65. He was abslutely correct. In fact, I was probably going faster than that, but he kept it at 89 because it lowered my fine and points SIGNIFICANTLY over what they'd be had I been listed at 90 or higher. He was professional and courteous. Joked around with me to make me feel less embarrassed. Nice guy. Experience: positive.

6. I was ticketed for "speed unsafe for conditions" following an accident between me and the guardrails on a snowy morning. The ticket was BS, and I lost in court, but the trooper ended up trying to argue in my favor against the charges once I explained to him what happened. Didn't work, but he turned out to be a nice guy the second time around. Experience: neutral.

7. Offiver Dave P came to the rescue again, helping me with that teenage girl who was kicked out of her house. He went WAY above and beyond what most cops would have done, and because of his efforts, she is safe at home, with a dad who appears to be trying to make things better. Come to find out yesterday that Officer Dave is working on ANOTHER, similar case. This time, dad apparently kicked the chair out from under his teenage daughter, then mom and dad took off on vacation, telling the daughter, "find a responsible adult and stay with them." Not surprisingly, she was gone when they returned. Dave is trying REALLY hard to find her. Experience: EXTREMELY positive.

I had a negative experience with an Arizona state trooper--completely bullshit ticket and a bad attitude to boot--and that's about it. So that's 5 positives, two negatives, and a neutral. Not too bad for the jack-booted thugs, eh Joe? They're not 90% bad, IMHO. But it probably varies reginally, too. I've heard that Texas cops suck ass.

Oh yeah! Forgot this one. Pulled over by a CSPD officer for running a red light. I was SO focused on making sure my speed was perfect (I saw him miles away) that I completely ignored the red light. He pulled me over, ran my tags, and let me off because I'm a Bills fan and he is too. :) So add another positive to the list.

Any time you're pulled over with out of state tags, you're going to get a little more crap. As far as Texas goes, the big city officers are alright. I always found them to be fair. The small town cops can be real *******s and they really are the stereotypical Texas cop you see in the movies. The DPS officers (Texas Rangers) I've encountered are profesional and courteous. My buddies and I got stopped once and had 5 weapons in the car. They were all loaded (which is a no no) and he asked us "What you boys doin' with them thar guns". We told him we were just going out in the woods for target practice. He ran our names for priors and came back, gave us our licenses and told us to be careful. He could have busted us bigtime.
