This means one less team we can deal Biron to. Now I'm starting to get worried that we might not be able to move him...

I've been saying he'll be a Sabre for much of next season, and I'll stick to that. Darcy Regier isn't just going to give him away for a pick or prospect. The player we get in return has to be able to aid in a run at the Stanley Cup.

I should have seen this coming. Crow really likes Cloutz.
I still see Marty going to St. Louis.
Pax.

They had Belfour come in for a physical today...if they sign him they'll be a joke

That's what I'm worried about....we won't get anything good at the deadline. Good job Darcy! He's gonna let Biron go next year in free agency for nothing. I don't see us getting anything at the deadline next year, we couldn't get anything this past year, I don't see that changing. That's my issue with the Biron situation.

We could definitely get something good for him at the deadline. Someone would be willing up to give up a decent veteran for goaltending stability, I think.

Unless Belfour fails that physical, that's the only choice we have. Darcy should just call up the Blues and get one of their goalies involved and make the deal already. Even if we don't get the best thing around, our roster is full and we should just get a capable back-up for Miller. Our defense is full, our forwards are full, just get a goalie and a pick Darcy.

Never expect Regier to make a deal in a timely fashion. His deals always come when he has no options left and must settle for less.

true, you see that with just about all of his trades. I am thinking that they still might move him soon just because management wants to save so much money, that they might not have a problem moving him sooner. On the same tocan, they do need a suitable back-up goalie, most likely through free agency, so it's a tough call to make.
