it's not as good as the old episodes. but it's alright.

scifi channel shows them (the 9th doctor). you can download the 10th doctor episodes at various bit torrent sites.

I've caught some Doctor Who eps here and there, but didn't miss one ep of the new series.

And don't plan to when the second season of the new one starts.

BTW,if you go to YouTube or one of those video sites,do a search for Doctoring the Tardis. Think "Doctor Who" mixed in with Gary Glitter and you have an idea of what the song sounds like. But the video...oh,man...if you think Who looked cheap(in terms of effects),"Doctoring" takes it to new heights...or depths. :)

So,the Eccleston and Tennant-era Daleks didn't impress you, nehe?(Though this time it looks like they're good and truly gone. And,no,that's not a misprint...the Daleks do pop up in the latest season again. You won't see it in the States for a while, unless you download it from the net. Canada will have it starting in October on CBC.)

Another question: Of the 10 versions of Doctor Who theme music, which ones do you like, and which do you hate?

Here's where you can listen to them:

Myself,I'm partial to #4,though #5,7 and 10 aren't bad either.

don't get me wrong carl, i liked eccleston and i think tennant has the respect for the role that is required.

they are not anywhere near the top, though. i would put eccleston low b/c he only had one season... and i would tie tennant with sylvester mccoy.

Circle this date on your calendar: September 29th.

That's when we'll start to see the David Tennant "Doctor Who" eps on Sci Fi. Pair it with Battlestar Galactica(which is coming back in October),and life is good!

If you're in Canada,it starts on the CBC October 9th(their Thanksgiving Day)at 8pm.

One more thing: while I was bumping around YouTube, there was another remix of Doctoring the Tardis that brought some footage from the first 2 seasons of the new series, with a teaser from Eccleston promoting the return on the show starting it.

Yep. But don't get used to her. She leaves after this batch of eps, though the good Doctor WILL be back with a new companion.

I was gonna ask you which dr? That show in one form or another has been on for years.

The 9th Doctor: Christopher Eccleston.
The 10th(and current)Doctor: David Tennant.

Until the BBC and Russell T. Davies brought back the Doctor last year, the show had not produced new episodes in nearly 20 years(never mind the Fox TV movie in 1996 that brought the 8th Doctor,Paul McGann, into the role). The last ep of the old series, with Sylvester McCoy as the Time Lord, was in 1989.

don't forget... according to the mythology, the 10th doctor is the LAST doctor.
