Wii or PS3?

Ok, I have a problem here....I am soon going to be faced with a problem.....and that problem is which system to get..... The nintendo Wii or the playstation 3?

So I am looking for help. I like nintendo more than playstation, and I like that with the wii system you can play games from any nintendo consel......but I hate the look of Wii's controller and the type of games nintendo has been releasing lately (nintendo also does not carry NFL head coach).

So what do you all think would be the best choice.....Im not a hardcore gamer.....I mainly play Madden.

+1. By the time the other two systems come out the 360 will have dropped in price and will have more games available than both systems combined. Not to mention it'll be on par with the Wii & PS3 performance-wise. :niterider

Bill Gates is a hell of an idividual....he's brilliant, and he gives alot back to society...there are alot worse companies to buy from than Microsoft....


and 360 is sweet.... I was a casual gamer until it came out, now I'm quickly becoming a junkie.

A 360 and Wii would be around the same price as a PS3. That is the direction that I am personally going in.

I bought the last three systems, gamecube, xbox, and PS2, and here's what happened: Gamecube became the star wars rogue squadron/zelda player, my xbox was a portable halo hub, and i actually bought most of my games for PS2, madden, nhl, gta, SW Battlefronts, so I'm going with PS3.

Well for me its not an issue anymore. I'll will be buying the Wii. The control innovation that they came up with will be the new way games are played. Zelda: The Twilight Princess is going to be sweet along with Mario Galaxy. Wii will have Madden 07 that uses the new contoller. But i havent read on whether they will have a multiplayer like Sony or Microsoft.


Playstation used to be my favorite because all the GTA games but there is no reason for me to buy the PS3. I do not have HDtv to even take advantage of the nice graphics and bluray so buying a 700 dollar + sytem that i cant even take advantage of is stupid. I think the whole six degree shit that they threw in their controllers is a joke! I guess they feared Nintendo's controller and felt it necessary to try and keep up in some form.

360: Im glad i dont have to trash it since you already hate it lol.

It all matters what you prefer. Are you a graphics whore or a gameplay whore?

You make a very good case......I have had every nintendo consel......I guess there is no reason to jump off the nintendo bandwagon.

360 is horrible. They rushed to get it out on shelves. A Majority of the games all have big glaring glitches in them.

I'll personally be going with the PS3. I've never been a Nintendo guy. Never had one. I went right to Sega, than to PS1, PS2.
