If you pay for this service (or even if your parents do) here is a little known fact... When you subscribe to Powerlink you are automatically given their "premium" HSI. I was recently notified by a friend who does IT work for Adelphia that they have a basic HSI plan and that it is exactly the same is their premium connection. I called Adelphia this weekend to downgrade and there is absolutely no difference in speed and download time. Most importantly I am saving $15.00 a month on my cable bill, I urge everyone to do the same.

Tell them you want to downgrade to basic HSI and they'll do it over the phone in seconds and you won't even know the difference. Trust me, I do a lo of downloading and it seems to be exactly the same.
