Congrats to NastyFin and all the Miami Heat fans.

Thanks! Great series!

I was wrong about Terry... and completely underestimated him. Now I'm hopeing that he somehow makes his way down to Miami in Free Agency... ;)

Howard is going to be great. I really hope that the TO doesnt haunt him. It wasnt his fault... that was all Avery.

And Dirk played well, even though he is getting alot of shit. I was really hard on him... till my roommate pointed out that he was still averaging a 20+pt double double. He wasnt playing bad, but was just over shadowed by Wade. He is still sick.

Great series! :D

I thought after game 2 3/4s, Dallas would sweep.

The Heat had the heart of a lion.

Felt like I watched history.

Shaq's build up of Wade TRANSCEDED the game of basketball, and soilidified him as the best center ever.

I don't remember seeing a more humble victory celebration from such big egos.

It was great to see.

I like Dallas better 'cause of Dirk and Cuban but Miami played awesome and they are a deserving champ. Wade is too good and I've always liked Shaq.

The best part is Kobe must be dying of envy wathcing Shaq win while he plays for the mediocre LAkers and everyone questions him after the game 7 vs the Suns. god I hate Kobe

was a great series... I also thought it was the end at the 4th quarter of game 3. Then I DID witness history. Those guys deserve to be world champs.

Special thanks go to the Dallas coach and Josh Howard for muffing up that timeout in game 5 :n4clapping:

You did... This is going to be one of those things you see on ESPN Classic 15 years from now.

No team without homecourt advantage has ever won after going down 0-2.

And we all were lucky enough to witness the blossoming of a true NBA Legend...

I would certainly wait a few more rings until you call him a legend. Great rising star, yes, legend. NO.

Definatly. He isnt a Legend yet... hence why I said the "blossoming" of one...

While Wade may not be the greatest player in the game today, he just may have played the greatest four games stretch in Finals history. Perhaps greater than Jordan, who had strong supporting casts.

Wade's was a hurculean effort, in which he carried the rest of his deadbeat teamates on his shoulders.

And give Shaq his huge props, not for his on court contributions - but for the way he built Wade's confidence in himself. I've not seen anything like it, where an aging vet passes the torch so caring, to a young gun who is the new Superman out of nowhere. Wade's game is just very good, not great, without Shaq's all world endorsement of him. The epitomy of teamwork.
The Steven A Smith interview with Shaq/Wade immediately following the game was something special too. Relish in it, FinNasty. Stuff like that doesn't happen often - in any sport.

A bunch of castoffs with big egos, who needed a bigger ego in Riley to gide them all. All with humility upon victory. A teriffic team.

And to think I wanted a Dallas sweep...

Zo had a huge game 6. Did you see Gary Payton yapping to the refs as Wade's pass hit him in the leg? Turnover, and Zo races down the court to block that shot. A huge play...

Forget that... he was the only one on his team making something happen...

I would do alot to bring Terry down to Miami in FA...

i watched every mavericks series this year, if terry broght the ball up the court, passed it, and got it back again, nobodies seeing that ball again unless they rebound. haha. even 2 on 1 fast breaks where if he passed to the trailer it would have been an easy layup he goes for the contested layup himself. if he's making a lot of his shots most dont notice his hogness, but it really becomes apparent when he's bricking them.
