Ever actually opened a taco up? Wonder why the "meat" is grayish? Mighty taco lasted about 1 yr here. See ya!! TB merged with KFC and rocks.
And BTW, Elmwood Sub and Taco blows both of them away.

Guys, this isn't even real Mexican, just America's watered down version of it. You want real Mexican you have to find these little family owned holes in the wall. They're everywhere here in Arizona, and they blow away the fast food franchises! But since you are in Buffalo, you might have to look a little harder. :)

I haven't had a Mighty Taco since the '70's when they just had the store on Bailey and one on Hertel and even then I only bought the bean and cheese burritos. Your cousin needs to start accepting Mighty into his heart and find piece with the 2 am munchie run.
Basically Taco Bell can't compete in Buffalo because it has no chance against Mighty. Theres one near UB for all the freakin Long Islanders and out-of-staters but thats about it.

The last two times I had ate TB, I was on the toilet 15 minutes later. That's when I stopped going there even though the wife likes it. I'm guessing but I think they use an Olestra type product to cook with. It gives you the fat flavor without the calories so their nutritional info looks good. The only bad thing about Olestra is it runs through quickly....very quickly in this case.

Have had authentic Mexican in Mexico City several times. No comparison. The Mexicans trash us when it comes to their own food.

I’m not really interested in trying to convert anyone that isn’t loyal to a wonderful Buffalo intuition like Mighty Taco. But I will say this. Every time I go home, the first think I do is get two super mightys with sour cream and jalapeños, and one hard-shell the same way. Before wings, before pizza, before clams at the Boston Hotel I go to Mighty. (by the way pizza in Cleveland, NC, and FL fkin suck!!)
I used to live on Mighty back home. Miss it, love it..

I’m happy to see this thread still alive. When It started I was crashing with my good friend Wagon Circler before I left North Carolina, and funny enough after fourteen months of drunken debauchery, bartending on the ocean in Fl, makin great money and knowin quite a few young ladies there, I am back on this thread once again living with WC and still proudly proclaiming that there is nothing as heavenly as MIGHTY TACO!!
Although I did eat Moe’s tonight and it’s pretty dam good Mexican. Hell, what else am I gonna do? I’m in Georgia now. Mighty is a long walk from here.

What the **** is Mighty Taco?
Sounds like a rubbish Taco Bell.
Booo Joe!!! Booo! My first year at Fredonia we had a Mighty Taco. Of course I was drunk half of my freshman year so my best solution for inebriation was the MT baby! Then they moved an in came Taco Bell and KFC and I had to switch to Pizza Wings and Things which was especially not all that great but was open after midnight. Taco Bell sucks donkey balls.

Taco bell had neat commercials with the little dog, "yo quiero taco bell!"
But I have liked Mighty Taco as far back as when they were on Seneca Street
across from the Buzz-N-Bee.

There's nothing like finishing off a night of partying with a 3 Cheese Burrito, Steak Fajata, and a Loganberrry from Mighty, but for those who say Taco Bell is garbage I used to think that too but then I started going there occasionally and they have amazing steak chalupa's as well as other things too. But Mighty and Jim's Steakout definately rule over everything...except for Duffs chicken wings

I always liked MT at 3am. other than that I liked Collosso Taco in Tonawanda. Good ground cow ass and snout.
I like Elmwood Taco and Sub. Here in DeKalb, IL there is a large Latino population and a bunch of Mexican restaurants but I'd take ETS and Mighty over all of them.
