I just don't feel like Politicians have ANY Youth or exuberance going for them, and this hurts MEN and woman my age.

Why you ask?

Because they are trying to turn US into THEM!!!

They are filtering us with this thing called EDUCATION in which spreads constant PROPAGANDA to the minds of young people.

Today in class, the majority thought the main reason Iran has nuke america fantasies is jealousy!!!

Will the teacher even MENTION the Iran/Iraq war?? The shah??? Anything?? They tell the public schools to teach us this so we don't REBEL!!

These old stiffs SUCK! Their Harvard educations and fat wallets don't make them true leaders.

True leaders like George Washington put on a uniform and LEAD their men into battle. True leaders don't insult people's intelligence with political mumbo jumbo, they SHOW them the money!!!!

I for one have had enough...

You don't think George Washington(whom said "remain neutral") would be tossing over in his grave, watching these rich, spoiled, geezers who have NO military knowledge, have unconsented sex with woman, and LIE run the country he fought so hard to exonorate!!!

My generation isn't going to take it..

America will be under new rule in 50 years IMO..

Iran is jealous but not alone. The entire islamic arab region is a bit jeaalous longing for the old Ottoman empire's return. Iran is pissed that we helped Iraq and feel they would have won the war if it wasn't for the great satan (the US) interfering. (Actually they would have lost sooner if Saddam wasn't such a douche at tactical warfare.)

I think much of the cold war was to, as you say, keep us in line but not the middle east. The palestinians are a real threat to the region. Islamic based governments (with a few exceptions so far) tend to make acccords with thier enemy (like Iran with this nuclear proliferation situation) by signing agreements only to disregard those agreements when they suddenly find themselves in a position of power. Iran will nuke up diplomacy or not it is just a matter of when. Israel will be attacked and if it's nuclear... that will be ugly.

Alot of people rant and rave about the state of the nation, but when it comes to taking the time to vote and research the candidates to make an informed choice, let alone writing your representatives when something is wrong, they just don't have the time and couldn't be bothered.

I have contacted my reps(whether in my district or not)a few times,and the responses I've gotten are little more than form letters. The last time I wrote a rep(in this case,Brian Higgins)was last year with the Terri Schiavo affair,when our government moved heaven and earth just to help one person whose case was getting full-blown coverage to the detriment of others in the same shape as she was. I was not happy that Higgins voted for the proposal,so I wrote him to express my displeasure. Needless to say,his defense of his vote was unimpressive.
